Let’s see what’s in the August 2017 SnackSack!
A peek inside!
Snacksack debuted a larger info sheet this month which listed everything inside, along with helpful symbols next to each one indicating whether it’s vegan, gluten-free, and/or non-GMO. It also included ways to earn free snacks, a coupon code, and more.
Another change that went down this month was the introduction of a snazzy reusable SnackSack tote bag — and the retirement of the ol’ burlap sack! I believe this will only be sent in your first box (or August box for current subscribers), so no more wasted/useless bags piling up. 😉
I love bean chips and “hint of lime” is one of my favorites (they strangely remind me of fruit loops due to their strong lime flavor). These are made with real beans, providing a nice amount of fiber in every serving. They also have 5 grams of protein per bag. They’re gluten-free and vegan friendly as well.
These snack puffs are made with all natural/organic ingredients including chickpea flour, rice flour, sunflower oil, seasonings, and pea hull fiber. I’ve tried two of their other flavors so far (vegan white cheddar & far-out fajita), but this is the first time I’ve seen a sriracha version. Looking forward to trying it!
Roasted & salted in-shell almonds that easily crack open for a fun, portable snack experience.
I typically go for lightly salted or raw almonds, so I was a little hesitant to try these sugar-coated, fruit-flavored ones. They’re made with real fruit flavor, which was a plus, but they were way too sweet for me.
I’ve had these bars before and I’m definitely a fan. This one is oatmeal raisin flavored and contains an impressive 12 grams of protein per serving. It’s gluten-free (obviously), soy-free, non-GMO, and vegan friendly.
These crispy cookies are referred to as Europe’s original coffee cookie and are well known for being served on flights. They’re made with all natural ingredients, are vegan-friendly, and taste fabulous. Mmm!
I’ve gotten these new fruit bites in a couple other boxes this month and was happy to see them pop up here as well. These tiny squares are made with 100% fruit and are free from artificial flavors, preservatives, or refined sugar. They’re also delicious!
A puffed corn snack made with non-GMO corn and other all natural ingredients. It’s 100% free of gluten, trans-fat, additives, and preservatives. It’s also great for kids since it has no pesky hulls or kernels.
We buy the apple version of these freeze-dried fruit crisps on a weekly basis, so we were excited to try these peach ones. Unfortunately, they just tasted kind of “off” to me and my girls weren’t too into ’em. We’ll definitely be sticking to apple. 😉
A gluten-free, paleo-friendly snack bar made with pumpkin seeds, grass-fed hydrolyzed collagen, hazelnuts, almonds, coconut flakes, and other natural ingredients. One serving has just 3 grams of sugar and an impressive 15 grams of protein.
A healthy snack combo perfect for enjoying on the go! This box includes a packet of roasted garlic hummus, along with a bag of gluten-free veggie chips.
A 100% natural vegan snack bar made with wholesome ingredients including organic whole oats, almond butter, dried cranberries, raisins, oat bran, sunflower seeds, and more. I’ve had a few different flavors of these bars and they’ve always been tasty.
A creamy peanut butter spread sweetened with real honey. Each packet has 2 grams of fiber and 6 grams of plant-based protein.
SnackSack, you never disappoint! My personal favorites this month were the Beanitos chips, Earnest Eats bar, NBTF fruit bites, GFB bar, and Biscoff cookies. 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 25% on your first box with my exclusive coupon code “ROSE25″!
