SnackSack is a subscription box that focuses on delivering natural, “junk-free” snacks to your door every month.
Every box will contain a mixture of all natural, vegan, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, and fair trade products. Items can include chips, protein bars, fruit snacks, popcorn, nuts, chocolate bars, cookies, granola, and more. They offer 3 different box options: Classic, Vegan, and Gluten Free.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $22/month for the Classic box, or $24/month for the Vegan and Gluten Free options. All boxes ship free within the US ($9.99 to Canada) & discounts are available for multi-month plans. — For a limited time, you can save 10% for LIFE (includes all future renewals) with coupon code “ROSE″!
Let’s see what’s in the December 2019 Vegan SnackSack!
As always, everything was shipped in their custom blue (turquoise?) & white SnackSack box.
A tri-fold info sheet listed all of the items included in each of the 3 available boxes (Classic, Vegan, and Gluten-Free) and gave brief descriptions of each product.
100% natural, non-GMO popcorn made with air popped popcorn, algae oil, whole algae flour, and sea salt. It’s vegan, gluten free, and contains no trans fat, high fructose corn syrup, cholesterol, or preservatives. Each serving contains just 100 calories and zero saturated fat.
Vegan Rob’s is a brand that gets featured a lot in SnackSack and I’m totally okay with it. These “fire breathing” Dragon Puffs are made with plant-based, gluten-free ingredients including organic whole grain sorghum flour, sunflower oil, nutritional yeast, serrano chili pepper, sea salt, and various spices. Each serving contains 3 grams of protein and just 1 gram of sugar.
This sweet & salty kettle-popped popcorn is made with just 4 simple ingredients: Non-GMO popcorn, sunflower oil, demerara cane sugar, and sea salt. It’s gluten-free, kosher, and contains 2 grams of both protein & fiber.
I’ve had spicy Buffalo peanuts before, but I can’t say that I’ve ever tried (or have seen) spicy walnuts. I’m looking forward to giving them a go. Also, I love this line on the back of the package: “Like a spicy chicken wing, only without all the dead birds”. Heck yeah!
These mango-flavored fruit rolls are made with 100% fruit — specifically, apples, pears, and mangoes. There’s no added sugar, artificial colors/flavors, or preservatives. The package even came with a free collectible bear-themed card. Fun!
My daughters both LOVE these fig bars and have been eating them almost daily for about a couple years now. They were a subscription box discovery and we just can’t get enough of ’em. They’re made with ancient grains including teff & amaranth and they’re also free of high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives.
The GFB sustainably crafts their bars in small batches in a dedicated gluten-free facility. Cranberry + Toasted Almond is loaded with 12 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber. It’s non-GMO and free of both soy & dairy. The sugar content is a bit higher than I’d like (14 grams), but it’s worth it. 😉
I LOVE these chewy little candies! They’re basically like Starburst, but without all the artificial flavors & colors. Not only are they all natural and organic, but they’re also vegan-friendly, non-GMO, and gluten-free.
This soft-baked fruit, nut, and seed bar is made with wholesome ingredients including pumpkin seeds, cashew butter, almonds, dried cherries, and sea salt. It contains no added sugar and has 10 grams of plant-based protein per serving.
An allergy-friendly granola snack that’s free of the 8 common allergens including dairy, peanuts, wheat, soy, tree nuts, and eggs. It’s non-GMO, organic, and includes the equivalent of nutrients found in one serving of vegetables.
Mmm! I love NibMor bars! This one is made with smooth dark chocolate infused with real organic mint, and topped with crunchy cacao nibs. Not only is it absolutely delicious, but it’s also non-GMO certified, gluten free, and vegan-friendly.
December’s vegan SnackSack box had a great assortment of bars, puffs, fruit snacks, chocolates, popcorn, and more. My personal favorites were the Vegan Rob’s snacks, The GFB Bar, Torie & Howard Chewie Fruities, Nature’s Bakery Bar, Made Good Granola, and NibMor Chocolate Bar. 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 10% for LIFE with coupon code “ROSE″!
