Let’s see what’s in the January 2021 Vegan SnackSack!
As always, everything was shipped in their custom turquoise & white SnackSack box.
A peek inside!
Instead of a printed booklet, Snacksack now sends a card with a QR code to view a full digital list of the items included in each of the 3 available boxes (Classic, Vegan, and Gluten-Free).
These crunchy kettle cooked chips are made using potatoes with “minor cosmetic imperfections”. By using these less-than-perfect spuds, Uglies have saved over 3 million pounds of potatoes from becoming food waste!
I love Enjoy Life cookies! Their entire product line is free of many common allergens including gluten/wheat, soy, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, and eggs. These mini chocolate chip cookies are vegan, gluten-free, and absolutely delicious.
This pop–-pip–corn is made in small batches using kernels much smaller than the ones used for traditional popcorn. It’s gluten-free, vegan, non-GMO, and is made with just 3 simple ingredients: heirloom popcorn, sunflower oil, and sea salt. Each bag has only 120 calories and 40% less fat than leading sea salt popcorn.
My kids and I love these crispy squares! They’re basically a healthier (vegan-friendly!) version of a Rice Krispie Treat that’s free of the 8 common allergens including dairy, peanuts, wheat, soy, tree nuts, and eggs. It’s non-GMO, organic, and includes extra nutrients from fruits & veggies. This was my first time trying the strawberry version and it did not disappoint!
I actually just bought a box of these brownies earlier this month. — They’re perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without feeling the guilt that may come with more traditional brownies. Not only are they dense and fudgy, but they’re also made with wholesome ingredients including dates and whole grains. SO good!
I’ve had these chips a few times now and I’m happy to see their return. They’re a mix of yellow and blue tortilla chips made with stone ground corn, vegetable oil, and salt. They’re gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and made with non-GMO ingredients.
These 100% plant-based energy balls are made with clean, simple ingredients including dates, peanuts, coconut, pear & strawberry puree, and pink salt. They’re certified non-GMO, gluten free, and vegan-friendly. They sound delicious and I’m sure they are, given that they have a whopping 31.7 grams of sugar. 😉
Premium Virginia artisan peanuts flavored with Kosher salt, chili pepper, cumin, oregano, onion, and garlic. These contain no GMOs, artificial flavors/colors, preservatives, or MSG. They’re also powder-free for less mess.
These 100-calories superfood snack bars are made with white chia seeds, cashew butter, unsweetened coconut, organic brown rice crisps, and other natural ingredients. Each bar provides 5 grams of fiber, 3 grams of protein, and just 3 grams of sugar.
If you can’t have fresh fruit, Ekoa bars are the next best thing. Each bar is made with only two ingredients — dates and dried mango. It contains no added coloring, flavors, or anything artificial. Just 100% natural goodness.
These little truffle-like bites are made with wholesome ingredients including dry roasted Virginia peanuts, organic brown rice protein, pea protein, flaxseed, and more. Not only are they gluten-free, but soy-free and vegan-friendly as well.
During a long/energy-zapping week of moving into our new house, January’s SnackSack provided an abundance of tasty vegan fuel that kept me chugging along. (Is it bad that I refused to share the Enjoy Life cookies with my kids? I NEEDED them! 😉 ) My personal favorites this time were the Enjoy Life Cookies (clearly), Madegood Strawberry Crispy Square, Nature’s Bakery Brownie, Frooze Balls, and The GFB Bites. 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 10% for LIFE with coupon code “ROSE″!
