Let’s see what’s in the October 2017 Vegan SnackSack!
The box!
A peek inside!
A full-color info sheet listed everything inside, along with helpful symbols next to each one indicating whether it’s vegan, gluten-free, and/or non-GMO. It also included ways to earn free snacks, a coupon code, and more.
SnackSack has retired their original burlap sack and now sends a handy, more attractive reusable tote to subscribers instead. (You’ll receive it in your first box and can refill it with new SnackSack snacks each month after.)
Beanitos Black Bean Chips
I love LOVE bean chips and was happy to see this “original” flavor included in the box. These filling chips are made with just four simple ingredients: Whole black beans, pure sunflower oil, long grain rice, and sea salt. So good!
Peeled Snacks Organic Mango
A healthy snack made with just one simple ingredient: organic mango. That’s it! I opened these for a mid-morning energy boost and they were a LOT sweeter than I was expecting. Crazy that there’s no added sugar!
Peeled Snacks Peas Please
These crunchy garden herb flavored snacks are made with real veggies including peas, red bell peppers, tomatoes, and garlic. They’re non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan, and have just 100 calories per serving.
Gary Poppins Simply Sea Salt Popcorn
This gluten-free, non-GMO popcorn is flavored with “just a jot of sunflower oil and a twinkling of sea salt”. I’ve gotten this in another subscription box and it was quite good. 🙂
Nature’s Bandits Mixed Berry Apple Veggie Fruit Stix
Getting my kids to eat fruits & veggies has been a never-ending (and VERY frustrating) battle… Kid-friendly fruit/veggie based snacks like this are always appreciated. These organic “stix” are made with a blend of apples, mixed berries, pumpkin, carrots, and more.
Pizootz Baja Taco Artisan Peanuts
Premium Virginia artisan peanuts flavored with Kosher salt, chili pepper, cumin, oregano, onion, and garlic. These contain no GMOs, artificial flavors/colors, preservatives, or MSG. They’re also powder-free for less mess. 🙂
Chinook Seedery Original Sunflower Seeds
Giant, non-GMO sunflower seeds flavored with sea salt and organic cane sugar.
Raw Rev Glo Double Chocolate Brownie Batter Bar
A raw superfoods bar packed with organic and raw plant-based ingredients. I’ve gotten these in a TON of subscription boxes, but this is my first time seeing this brownie batter flavor. — Sounds delicious!
Ocean’s Halo Sriracha Seaweed Snack
Lightly roasted seaweed flavored with organic sriracha seasoning. The entire package contains just 20 calories.
Rawxies Banana Nut Bread Snack Bar
These little bars are SO good. Not only are they gluten-free, vegan, and made with all natural ingredients, but they’re also shaped like a heart! Aw.
Skout Organic Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
We didn’t quite get around to carving our pumpkins this year, but at least we’ll still be able to enjoy some seeds. 😉 These organic, USA grown pumpkin seeds are sprinkled with pink Himalayan sea salt for a savory, yet healthy snack.
Earnest Eats A.M. Trail Mix Oatmeal
A 95% organic oatmeal made with coffee fruit, coconut oil, superfood grains, whole fruits, nuts, seeds, and more. It’s packed with nutrients & antioxidants to help you power through your day.
The GFB Gluten-Free Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Bites
I’ve gotten these in a couple other subscription boxes and instantly became a fan. They’re little truffle-like bites made with wholesome ingredients including crisped brown rice, dates, toasted coconut, flaxseed and more. Not only are they gluten-free, but soy-free and vegan-friendly as well.
Coupons
The box also included two coupons to use on some of the products featured inside.
SnackSack just keeps getting better! I’ve already declared this my #1 favorite snack subscription, but now that they’ve officially launched the all-vegan box… Well, it just moved up to next-level awesome! 😀 — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 15% for LIFE with coupon code “ROSE15″!
