SNATCH Beef Jerky is a subscription “box” that sends you a selection of low sodium beef jerky every month.
Each shipment will contain a package of each flavor of their premium jerky — 5 bags in all. SNATCH beef jerky is made with grass-fed California beef raised without the use of hormones and is processed in a USDA-approved facility. The jerky is also free of preservatives, nitrates, and MSG. Compared to store brands which contain between 400 and 800 mg of sodium per ounce, SNATCH is typically between 50 to 270 mg.
Subscriptions are $39/month ($7.80 per bag) and shipping is free.
Let’s see what’s in the January 2016 SNATCH Beef Jerky “box”!
Everything was shipped in a padded mailer via Priority Mail.
There wasn’t a standard info card, but a business card listed all of the jerky flavors that were included in the shipment.
All of the flavors came in 3 ounce packages with a resealable… seal. Since I’m vegan, I obviously wasn’t going to sample the jerky so I’ll just include photos of each flavor below. I couldn’t find much info on their website about each one, so… The photos will just have to do!
Whiskey Row
Orange Teriyaki
Traditional Western
Peppered Ale
Original Peppered
Since I can’t speak for the actual taste, I’ll just have to go on value here… Based on a quick search on Amazon, SNATCH Beef Jerky is definitely in line with what most quality jerky sells for. Plus, it has the added bonus of being lower in sodium than most conventional brands.
