Let’s see what’s in my January 2017 Stickii pack!
The stickers were all shipped in a bright pink envelope with the theme — “Kawaii Characters” — revealed on the back.
A peek inside!
My Melody Puffy Stickers
Aw, these stickers are SO cute! (Er, kawaii. 😉 ) The sheet features My Melody and her friends, along with stars, bows, and other sweet additions. The “puffiness” makes them all the more special. — These would be great for decorating Valentines too!
Sumikkogurashi Characters Sheet
Sumikkogurashi are San-X characters that were apparently created to touch upon how shy Japanese people can be. The characters include a polar bear, penguin, cat, a weed, and more. They tend to hide in corners and stick together in their own little groups. As odd as it may be, I think the little weed is actually my favorite. 😉
Little Twin Stars Sheet
The Little Twin Stars are Kiki and Lala, twins “born on Omoiyari Star in the Yume Star-Cloud. They traveled a long way to Earth to learn how to be the best, shiniest stars they can be. Lala is the eldest, loves to draw and write poems, and is a great cook. Kiki is filled with curiosity about everything, which makes him a little cheeky sometimes.” This sheet is so pretty and is accented with metallic gold outlines.
Rilakkuma Sheet
I was never really a Rilakkuma fan, but this lil’ guy is definitely starting to grow on me. 🙂 Rilakkuma’s name is a combination of rirakkusu, a Japanese transliteration of the English word “relax”, and kuma, the Japanese word for “bear”. So he’s basically a bear who likes to relax. — I can totally get behind that. 😉
Gudetama Sheet
Ah, Gudetama… Everyone’s favorite emotionally defeated egg. You can’t help but feel sorry for this lil’ dude. That sticker in the middle/right where he looks like he’s straight up bawling? Aww. 🙁 He needs a big hug (from a vegan like me who won’t try to eat him! 😉 )
Rilakkuma Sticker
More Rilakkuma! He’s getting ready for some serious veggin’ out with a cozy blanket and a box of cookies. Yep, I’m really starting to like this guy.
Gudetama Single Stickers
So many tiny Gudetamas! I didn’t count them all, but there were a LOT. (I got tired of flipping them all over, as you can see by the pile at the bottom. 😉 ) I’ve never seen him smile before and that little sticker in the middle with him looking happy makes me wish he wasn’t so sad all the time. — He’s adorable when he smiles!
I think this was one of my favorite collections from Stickii to date! You really can’t go wrong with a kawaii theme. — Though I was a little sad that there wasn’t an appearance by Hello Kitty. Still, an adorable assortment! 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can get your first month for just $8.50 with coupon code “TRYSTICKII“!
