Let’s see what’s in the February 2016 Energy Supply Company box!
The box!
A peek inside. — Drinks!
February’s Energy Supply Co. box featured drinks from Arizona, North Carolina, Tennessee, California, and Luxembourg.
A 2-sided info card included full color photos and descriptions for each of the six drinks.
No Fear Citrus Arizona – According to the info card, No Fear was originally a SoBe product and is now owned by Mix1 Life. This citrus flavor is comparable to sweet lemonade and is packed with 80mg of caffeine and 33g of sugar. Woah.
BeastUp California – The motto of BeastUp is “Stay alert to stay alive” and this drink claims to deliver alert & focused energy. It features a pineapple-mandarin flavor that’s lightly carbonated and infused with natural ingredients like ginkgo, taurine, and B vitamins. It contains 100mg of caffeine and 30g of sugar.
Quad Energy Orange Twist Tennessee – As you can see, this can wouldn’t stand upright… There was a bulging at the bottom that I can only assume was due to the immense energy inside refusing to be contained. Or… it was likely dropped and/or experienced major changes in temperature/altitude during shipping. The first explanation is a lot more fun though. 😉 Either way, the info card suggests enjoying this orange-flavored drink over ice where it takes on a creamsicle-like experience. A drinkable creamsicle with 140mg caffeine and 58g of sugar.
Cocaine – Spicy Hot North Carolina – This drink was once banned by the FDA due to its… interesting moniker. And with a name like Cocaine, it has to deliver some serious results. Like, oh, 3 times the caffeine content of typical energy drinks. Yep, 3 times. — Each can contains 280mg of caffeine! It comes in two different flavors, with this “spicy hot” one being compared to drinking liquid atomic fireball candy. Ouch.
Cocaine – Mild North Carolina – More Cocaine! (Hey, you can’t just have one, right?) For the less hardcore users drinkers, this “mild” version is a little kinder on your tastebuds featuring a nice berry flavor. It still has 280mg of caffeine though. 😉
28 Black Acai Luxembourg – This all natural energy drink hails all the way from Luxembourg. It contains no artificial flavors, colors, or taurine. What it does contain is 80mg of caffeine and just 70 calories.
Can Koozie – Also included in the box was a bright red Energy Supply Co. can koozie!
Energy Supply Company is clearly a great subscription box for anyone who enjoys trying new and hard-to-find energy drinks. The variety was nice and I found the info card very helpful (especially since I’m a energy drink newbie). 🙂
Don’t forget — you can get your first box FREE (just pay $4.99 shipping) with coupon code “FREEBOX2LRB“!
