Yay! Sudsy Box time again! This is by far one of my favorite boxes to open just because it smells SO dang good. Damn good even. (Ooooh.)
Sudsy Box is a subscription box that sends you 3 full-sized handmade bars of soap every other month. They also include a bonus body product in each box (hand sanitizer, lip balm, etc). The soaps are all natural and handmade by Heidi’s Artisan Soap, who recently merged with Sudsy Box to form Sudsy & Co. They also just started offering a baby line!
All of Sudsy & Co.’s soaps are vegan, gluten-free and contain zero artificial colors or fragrances. Each box features products that highlight the scents of the particular season in which it’s shipped.
Sudsy Box is just $20 every other month — shipping included!
Let’s see what’s in April’s box!
As always, the box featured their signature line — “Everyone Deserves a Little Box of Luxury” — and smelled fantastic before even opening it up.
A peek inside.
April’s Sudsy Box featured a selection of citrus-inspired scents, which I just so happen to LOVE.
Tropical Delight – Mmm. This sweet-smelling bar is infused with grapefruit essential oil and topped with crushed orange peels, resulting in one seriously citrusy soap. I’m kinda regretting the fact that I just opened a new bar last night (“Morning Mist” — so good), cos I really wanna try this NOW.
Eucalyptus Lavender Silk Bar – This bar has a nice, calming scent and contains both eucalyptus and lavender essential oils. It also has purple Brazilian clay, which is supposed to increase circulation, detoxify, and minimize pores without drying the skin. Unfortunately for me, it also contains Tussah silk (not vegan), so I’ll be passing this one along to my mom.
Lemon Delight – Awww yeeeeah! I love all things lemon-scented (natural scents preferred), so I was stoked to see this bar in the box. I *think* this may have been featured in a past box, but I’m more than happy to get another. It contains a blend of plant-based oils and butters, along with French green clay, rosemary extract, and lemongrass essential oil. Yum!
Citrus Shea Balm – The bonus sample this month was a citrus shea balm. It’s made with a blend of shea butter, sweet almond oil, beeswax, orange & lemongrass essential oils, and rosemary extract.
Once again, a great offering from Sudsy Box. The two “delight” bars smell so amazing that I don’t even mind that I won’t get to use the silk one (plus, my mom will totally love it). These soaps last so long that I’ve accumulated a nice little stockpile and I always look forward to picking out a new one when the current bar is used up. Love ’em!

April 2015 Sudsy Box Review
I love the citrus theme this month! Sure, I would have been happier if the one bar didn’t contain silk, but no biggie. I have no problem sharing the soap love. 🙂
