Let’s see what’s in the April 2016 Surprise My Pet box!
The big yellow box.
A peek inside.
An info card listed all of the items in this month’s box, along with brief descriptions for each one. — I’m not sure why the photo quality looks so bad, but the card itself was totally legible. 😉 April’s theme was “Movie Night”!
Jeffer’s Slice ‘o Pizza ($8.99) – Everyone loves pizza, so why not share a slice with your pup? This super soft plush toy features both a squeaker in the slice, as well as a crinkly material inside the crust. Plenty of stimulating playtime fun. 🙂
Puppy Scoops Ice Cream Mix for Dogs ($7.99) – Specially formulated for dogs, this treat is made with lactose free whole milk, evaporated cane juice, gelatin, natural vanilla flavor and salt. Just mix it with hot tap water, freeze for at least 5 hours, and spoil your furry friend with a cool & creamy treat.
Yaky Charms ($2.99) – Doggy popcorn! Well, kinda. They’re actually little puffs made with cow milk, yak milk, salt, and lime juice. “Pop” them in the microwave for a minute or so, let them cool, and serve ’em up!
Elvis Peanut Butter & Banana Sandwich Toy ($14.99) – This plush “peanut butter & banana sandwich” toy features a squeaker toy in one “half” and crinkle material in the other. The two pieces are held together with velcro circles and can be played with separately or as a single toy. My mother-in-law (who gets all of my pet boxes for her dog Lucy) loves Elvis, so this is great. 🙂
BarBars Honey & Oats Dog Treat ($1.99) – An all natural “cookie bar” for dogs, this treat is made with wheat flour, rolled oats, honey, cinnamon, rye flour, and other wholesome ingredients. It’s made in the USA and contains no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.
One Fur All Pet House Candle in Mango Peach ($3.49) – If you’re a regular here, you know I love getting candles in subscription boxes. I gotta say, I never expected to receive on in a PET box! Very cool. Even better, this candle is made with 100% natural soy wax and infused with essential oils. It’s designed to be a powerful odor neutralizer for pet-loving homes, but I’ll happily burn it in my pet-less one. 🙂
PawTree PawTreats (sample) – This wasn’t listed on the info card, so I believe it was included as a bonus item. The package contains two little treats made with free-dried chicken, apples, and spinach. Nothing more!
I think this was my favorite Surprise My Pet box to date! The theme was clever and I love all the dog versions of “people food”. The total retail value this month came to just over $40. Nice! Remember — You can save 10% on ANY plan with coupon code “2LITTLEROSEBUDS“, or save $25 on the yearly plan with “PUPSRULE“.
