Let’s see what’s in the April 2017 Tea Box Express box!
A peek inside.
April’s Tea Box Express was curated with help from Lu Ann Pannunzio, the author of the book included in this month’s box. She also designed the bookmark on the info card above.
I might as well start with the book mentioned above! This little paperback serves as a great reminder of just how awesome a simple cup of tea can be. It includes plenty of information on the subject, but doesn’t read like a dry, “history of tea” textbook. Instead, it focuses on the act of enjoying a cup of tea and the overall experience to be had.
After receiving so much black tea lately, I was happy to see a green blend included this month. “Nikki Teavonni” is a vibrant green tea infused with the essence of lotus blossoms and coupled with vanilla and star anise for an aromatic floral taste and scent.
These all natural, crunchy cookies are made with almond brittle & Carmelia chocolate pearls and are finished with sea salt. Perfect for enjoying with a hot cup of tea.
These artisanal honey straws contain 100% pure raw honey. Rather than using an extract, the honey was infused with real vanilla beans for an all natural flavor. These straws are great for adding to smoothies, drizzling over fruit, or (of course) adding to tea.
These are so pretty! They’re chocolate-covered sunflower seeds dipped in a brightly colored candy coating. Perfect for adding to baked goods, snack mixes, or eating straight from the tube.
Of all the tea subscription boxes I’ve seen, I gotta say Tea Box Express is definitely one of my favorites. I love that they include not only great tea, but also lots of fun tea-inspired items. 🙂 Remember — for a limited time you can save 20% on your first month with coupon code “ROSEBUDS20“!
