Let’s see what’s in the August 2017 Tea Box Express box!
The box!
A peek inside.
Tea Box Express doesn’t include a detailed info card, but they do hope you enjoy their teas and treats nonetheless. 😉
JusTea Purple Leaf Tea
This low caffeine, artisan loose leaf tea consists of 100% natural/pesticide-free Kenyan purple tea leaves. The purple coloring is thanks to anthocyanins, the same antioxidants responsible for the dark hues in grapes, blueberries, pomegranates, and acai berries. Purple leaf tea is also color changing — just add a few drops of lemon to your cup to see the color intensify! Neat. 🙂
Collapsible Laser Mesh Tea Infuser
A stainless steel tea infuser that collapses for easy storage, travel, or tea on the go. It features laser cut holes to effectively strain out both large and small tea leaves. It’s designed to fit almost all standard size cups/mugs and is dishwasher safe.
Raley’s Confectionary Handmade Emoti-Candy
Ha! How adorable are these little emoji candies? There are 5 different emojis in all, each of which have their own corresponding color/flavor. The flavors include: cherry, lime, banana, raspberry, and blueberry. They’re made with organic fair trade sugar and all natural flavors & colors. Oh, and they’re vegan-friendly too!
Old Town Spice Shop Honey Powder
I had never even heard of honey powder until I received it in this month’s box. It’s a dry mix of natural maltodextrin & honey that has a variety of uses including adding flavor to cake, cookie or bread mixes, sprinkled over hot and cold cereals, and on seeds and nuts before roasting. Of course, it can simply be used to sweeten your tea as well!
August’s Tea Box Express included a nice collection of tea-themed goodies and introduced me to two products I had never even heard of — purple tea & honey powder! Of course, the highlight of the box for me had to be the adorable emoji candies. Too cute! 🙂 Remember — for a limited time you can save 20% on your first month with coupon code “ROSEBUDS20“!
