TomBox (formerly Swaag Box) is a “time of the month” box that sends you your choice of brand name pads/tampons, as well as jewelry, makeup, and treats.
TomBox offers a super customizable experience, from choosing your brand of pads/tampons, to your style of jewelry, skin tone, style preferences, and more.
Subscriptions are $16/month, or less with multi-month commitments. There’s also a “no flow” option for $10 if you’d rather not get pads/tampons in your box. Shipping is included in each plan. You can also choose to double your makeup & jewelry and/or add razors to your box at an additional cost. (For a limited time, you can get your first box for just $8 shipped!)
Let’s see what’s in my July 2015 TomBox!
Everything was shipped in a small square box sealed with TomBox tape. As with my last box, there wasn’t an info card, so I’m guessing they don’t send them anymore?
Always Ultra Thin Active Regular Pads – I mentioned in my last review that I meant to order ultra thins, so I don’t know if they saw that or what, but I’m happy to get them this time!
Hikari Blush in “Bikini” – I love that they send so many full-sized products. “Bikini” is a pretty shade described as “pinky peach with light shimmer”. This full sized blush sells for $15 on the Hikari site!
Cult Cosmetics Polish in “Catalina” – Yay, polish! I’ve never tried Cult polishes before, but I’m happy to see that they’re vegan, ethically made, and 5-FREE. Their site also claims that you never need more than one coat. Awesome!
Starfish Earrings – Delicate little silver starfish earrings. I don’t have pierced ears anymore, so I’ll be saving these for my girls when they’re older.
Be a Bombshell Lip Gloss in “Diamond” – I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a clear gloss in a subscription box, so this was a surprise. For someone who doesn’t wear color on her lips, this is actually something I just might use.
Headband – I’ve recently started getting back into wearing headbands, so this came at the perfect time. I like the simplicity of it and that it can be easily worn with almost any outfit.
La Fresh Travel-Lite Oil-Free Makeup Remover Wipes – Makeup remover is always something I always need, so I’m happy to receive this handy travel pack. Sadly, I’ll likely end up using these at home, but whatever. 😉
Makeup Brush – Okay, I’m a total newb when it comes to makeup brushes, so I’m not sure what this one is for. Blush maybe? Whatever it’s for, it’s very soft.
Escada Marine Groove Eau de Toilette – I’ve been getting SO many perfume samples in subscription boxes lately and I’m not really a fan. I typically wear all natural scents, if I wear any at all.
Joanna Vargas Daily Serum – An all-natural hydrating serum that brightens skin and fights wrinkles, while leaving skin smooth and matte.
Another great offering from TomBox! I can’t wait to try the Cult polish and the headband came at the perfect time. I didn’t do a cost breakdown, but the blush retails for $15 and the polish for $12, so those two items alone more than cover the cost of the entire box. Impressive!
If you’d like to try TomBox for yourself, right now you can get your first box for just $8 shipped! — No promo code needed, just click the link to get the deal!

did you double up on the makeup or is that the standard amount?

Since it’s a review box and there’s no info card, I’m honestly not sure. There’s only 1 jewelry item though (unless a headbead counts too?), so I’m guessing standard?
