Whistle Work Box is a monthly subscription box that sends you a selection of fun office supplies and novelty items to brighten up your workspace.
Boxes will feature small decor pieces, office supplies, lifestyle items, snacks, and more. To allow for “cutesy” items to be sent without turning off the dude-folk, they offer both a Men’s box and a Women’s box. Yay, options!
Subscriptions are $19.99 (plus $5.95 shipping) and past boxes are also available for purchase on their site.
Let’s see what’s in my May Whistle Work Box!
Everything was packed into a brown box and sealed with a Whistle Work Box sticker.
All of the contents were listed on the inner lid. I received the “Flower Savvy” Woman’s box.
A quick peek inside — so colorful!
Flower Mix 5-Piece Binder Clips & Really Useful Box ($3.99) – I thought they were being cheeky when they listed this as “Really Useful Box”, until I saw those same words printed on the outside of it. It truly is a Really Useful Box. The binder clips are adorable — I’d keep these guarded closely if I were still a cube monkey.
Schoolio Clipboard Pad/Pen Set ($6.99) – A cute red clipboard featuring a spring-y flower/bird pattern and built-in pen. I was definitely fooled by the “pencil” design and it took me a sec to realize that you had to push in the “eraser” to pop the pen tip out. Clever.
Silicone Tea Infuser ($5.99) – I love this lil’ guy! He’s an adorable tea infuser who hangs from the rim of your cup to disperse tea from his insides (ew). Just pull his torso off, fill his lower body with tea, then let him steep. (Note: Jar not included. I just wanted to show him “in action”. Well, minus the tea.)
Flower Clothes Pins ($2.50) – Two pretty little flower clips to help bring a bit of spring to your office space.
ID Avenue Lanyard ($11.99) – I would totally use this lanyard if I still had an office job (though I’m insanely thankful that I don’t!). The colors are bright and fun without being overly girly. My husband, however, refused my invitation to attach his own ID to it. 😉
Elmer’s Glitter Glue ($1.99) – Forgive my crummy photo… This glitter glue looks a lot prettier in person. I’ll put this away for my girls to use for extra sparkly crafts.
Flower Note Cards – These pretty notecards were listed as a bonus item. I like the cute gold accents and it’s always nice to have extra notecards laying around to include with gifts.
Celestial Seasonings Strawberry Champagne Black Tea – Another bonus item! I’ve never had this flavor, so I decided to sip on some while writing this review. It was a little more cinnamon-y than I expected, but good.
While I no longer work in an office environment, I really enjoyed May’s Whistle Work Box. You certainly don’t need an actual “office space” to appreciate the majority of items they included. I mean, who couldn’t use a man-shaped tea infuser or a “Really Useful Box”? 😉
