Let’s see what’s in the October 2016 Yogi Surprise (Lifestyle) Box!
Everything was shipped in a small purple box with white print.
A peek inside.
An info card included a list of everything in the box, along with photos, brief descriptions, and retail prices for each one.
Banyan Botanicals Daily Massage Oil ($13) – An Ayurvedic massage oil that’s suitable for all dosha types — vata, pitta, and kapha. It can be used for professional Ayurvedic massage or for personal use as part of a daily self massage routine. The blend is 100% organic and vegan-friendly.
Rare Earth Naturals Meditation Travel Tin Spa Candle ($12) – This candle is made with pure, non-GMO soy wax and real essential oils. The scent is a strong blend of frankincense, myrrh, clary sage, Peru balsam, lavender, and sandalwood. I’m usually not too picky about candle scents, but this particular one was (surprisingly) a little too strong/perfume-y for me.
Restorative Yoga: Reduce Stress, Gain Energy, and Find Balance by Ulrica Norberg ($15) – I’ve actually never heard of restorative yoga, so this was a new concept for me. According to the book’s description, bolster pillows, yoga blocks, and blankets are an important part of restorative yoga. You’ll learn how to use these props along with poses that will help you release anxiety, promote digestion, relieve headaches, recover from injuries, and more.
Kensington Apothecary Skin Serum #5 Antioxidant Boost ($36) – A plant-based facial serum made with mango, maca, white tea extracts, trace minerals derived from the Earth’s purest clays, and other natural ingredients. The antioxidant rich formula helps to moisturize, stimulate collagen production, and improve skin color.
Living Raw Organic Coconut Karma Truffles ($5) – YUM! These 100% raw, vegan, gluten-free truffles were absolutely delicious. They’re dusted with coconut on the outside and are rich & creamy on the inside. I tried to just eat one serving (1 truffle) at a time, but ended up eating the whole bag in one sitting. SO good!
Natural Fitness Hemp Yoga Strap ($15) – All of the yoga boxes must have had the same idea this month, because this is the third yoga strap I’ve gotten in the last few weeks. (All different brands too!) This particular one is made of strong, sustainable hemp in a pretty olive color.
Eat Cleaner Fruit & Vegetable Wipe (Bonus Item) – I always spray my fresh produce with a fruit & veggie wash, so I’ll absolutely be using this convenient wipe. The cloth is biodegradable and made with all natural ingredients.
What a jam-packed offering from Yogi Surprise! My favorite items this month were the insanely good chocolate truffles, massage oil, candle (even though the scent was a bit strong), and yoga book. The total retail value of October’s box was $96! — Remember, if you’d like to subscribe you can save 15% for LIFE with coupon code “YOGILOVE“.
