Once again, Ecocentric Mom delivered an awesomely packed box for August! There’s never any extra room for tissue paper filler/padding in these boxes!
Ecocentric Mom offers 3 different subscription options: The Mom-to-Be Box, The Mom Box, or The Mom & Baby Box. Whichever option you choose, you can be sure that your box will contain at least 5-9 (often more!) expertly chosen products for you and/or your baby. The products are almost always natural, eco-friendly, healthy, and organic. They try to provide a good mix of full and sample-sized products, ranging from bath essentials, to teethers and toys, to healthy snacks & more.
Let’s see what Ecocentric Mom delivered this month!
gao Natural Wood Fish Teether – When I picked this out of the box, I immediately took a liking to it. Natural wood, super smooth edges, adorable fishy shape… What’s not to like? So then I went to look at gao’s Etsy page, and lo and behold — they’re based right here in Buffalo! How cool! 🙂 They have some really cute stuff… Love the turtle teether! (Retail price: $8.99)
Possum Hollow Farm Soap in Lavender Mint – I LOVE getting bar soaps in sub boxes. This one is lavender mint scented, which smells so nice! It’s a unique combo of calming and refreshing rolled into one beautifully packaged little bar of soap. Oh, and it’s all natural and 100% vegan. Yay! (I couldn’t find any prices online, but the full size is listed at $5.50 on the info card… Since this is a travel size, I’ll say $2.00)
Rubbabu Mini Balls – These are cute, smaller versions of the standard 5″ Rubbabu balls. I’d say these are about 2 1/2 – 3 inches in size. Rubbabu products are eco-friendly and made of natural rubber foam that is totally safe for babies. I’ve gotten one of these (the larger size) in a Citrus Lane box, and my only complaint is that they seem to get dirty (mostly from lint) really fast and end up looking kinda gross. The tag says to “wipe clean”, but I’m not sure that’ll cut it. Anyone else have this problem? (Retail Price: $2.99 x 2 = $5.98)
Nature’s Baby Organics Shampoo & Conditioner – I’m always happy to see baby wash/shampoo in boxes! My husband’s too cheap to buy natural stuff, so I rely on boxes and Facebook trades to get “the good stuff”. This is made with pure, natural ingredients and has a nice vanilla tangerine scent. (Is it just me, or does every baby shampoo smell like vanilla & tangerines? Weird.) (Amazon Price: roughly $1.60 x 2 = $3.20)
Nature’s Baby Organics Aromatherapy Calming Spray – This spray helps “soothe & relax” baby… It smells so nice (“Lovely Lavender”) that I might just use it to soothe myself. It’s 100% vegan and contains more than 70% certified organic ingredients. (Amazon Price: roughly $3.80)
Truebar from Bakery on Main – I ate this as soon as I got the box. SO good. (It’s got honey, so strict vegans beware!) This flavor is (was) Walnut Cappuccino and though I really couldn’t detect any cappuccino-ness, it was still quite tasty. Truebars are gluten free, dairy free, and non-GMO. (Amazon Price: roughly $1.81)
Oogaa Baby Silicone Train Spoon – I got this same spoon in Ecocentric Mom’s Mystery Box a few months ago. It’s a cute, baby-friendly silicone spoon with a train on the handle. It’s dishwasher/microwave safe, which is always appreciated. (Amazon Price: $5.99)
Olivella Baby Oil Essence – This natural virgin olive oil-based, well, oil is intended to “nourish baby’s skin and fight dehydration”. It’s made in Italy and has a light, citrus scent. 7 packets were included. (Amazon Price: roughly $2.18)
Stretchy! Stretch Mark Cream – This is a vegan moisturizing cream designed to reduce the appearance of stretch marks. It can also be used as a regular ol’ body moisturizer. Made with all natural ingredients including Moroccan Argan oil. (Retail Price: roughly $4.50)
See? That’s one packed box! Monthly subscriptions are $21, but you can save more with 3 or 12 month subscriptions. (There was a coupon code not too long ago that made my subscription only $18/month.) All totaled, the items in the August box comes to $38.45! Right now Ecocentric Mom is offering 10% off a monthly subscription when you click here and use the code “ECOMOM10“!
Disclosure: I purchased this box on my own. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Amazon prices subject to change. Post contains affiliate/referral links.

Interesting. I didn’t receive the same products. I am subscribed to the Baby Box. I would have loved to get that calming spray!
