My Bakers Box is a subscription box that sends you a fun selection of baking-related goodies every month.
Items can range from cookie cutters, to cupcake liners, edible images, sprinkles, and more! Boxes can also include tips for using the items, as well as a recipe or two. The products are usually centered around a specific theme or time of year (holidays, seasons, etc).
Subscriptions are $25/month or less with multi-month commitments. (New subscribers can get an extra item in their first box for free with coupon code “BAKINGFREEBIE“!)
Let’s see what’s in the September 2015 My Bakers Box!
The black & white tissue paper hinted at this month’s theme…
A peek inside!
September’s theme? — Halloween!
An info card included a list of everything I’d find inside.
The feature recipe was for “Zombie Push Pops”, which utilized many of the items in the box.
Push Pop Molds – Four plastic push pop molds were included to make the Zombie Push Pop cake treats. I’ve gotten these in another baking subscription box, but passed them along to my niece who loves baking. These are a bit too fancy for me — plain ol’ (easy) cupcakes are more my style. 😉
Spider Web Wrappers & Orange Cupcake Liners – 12 black spiderweb cupcake wrappers were included, along with 17 orange liners. They look great paired together and I love the glittery texture on the wrappers. Super festive!
CK Products Chocolate Flavored White Candy Writer – The perfect tool for adding spooky details to your Halloween-themed treats.
Chocolate Jimmies – Sprinkles! Er — jimmies! Gotta love jimmies. The crazy long ingredients list is a little scary, but… jimmies!
Zombie Attack Sugar Dec Ons – Ahh! These are awesome! — Sugar-based cupcake decorations featuring zombie heads, brains, and arms. I wish they included double the amount to decorate a full dozen cupcakes, but what can ya do.
My Bakers Box curated a fun box to inspire some spooky Halloween treats. I would have liked to see a few more dec ons or another item or two, but overall a nice holiday-themed baking box. Remember — if you’d like to sign up, you’ll get an extra item in their first box for free with coupon code “BAKINGFREEBIE“!

I finally had to cancel this one because they never sent enough supplies to do a full cookie or cupcake recipe. I found that very frustrating, especially in a baking box. Good review though!
