This is the first time I’ve gotten my Ecocentric Mom box totally spoiler-free! I was surprised to find it on my doorstep so soon and couldn’t wait to tear into it. (No really, these things truly do excite me! Sad, I know.)
Ecocentric Mom offers 3 different box options: Mom-to-Be, Mom, and Mom & Baby (for babies up to 18 months). Every box contains products that are eco-friendly, natural, organic, and often vegan-friendly. Subscriptions are $21/month (or less with longer commitments) and shipping is free.
I always get the “Mom & Baby” box, because I’d much rather get stuff for the girls than for me. Hey, what can I say, I’m just that damn awesome. 😉 Okay, let’s see what I got this month!
The first look is always so pretty. And pink!
Susan Brown’s Baby Dead Sea Salt Foot Soak – This is a special pampering gift “for mom”. It contains natural mint and tea tree oil to help sooth your feet after a long day of chasing your little ones. It’s dermatologist tested and contains no parabens or animal ingredients. I’m not really one to sit and just soak my feet, so I kinda wish this was an “all-body” soak that I could sprinkle in the tub. Hmmm… Maybe I can? Anyone know? Or is it “feet-only”? (Amazon Price: $15.26)
Boogie Mist – I had no idea that this even existed! I love using Boogie Wipes on the girls (the grape smells sooo good), so I was more than happy to see this in my box. We definitely used our fair share of saline spray last winter, so I’m sure this will come in handy this year as well. (Amazon Price: $5.99)
Travel Spritz – Travel Spritz is an all natural cleaning spray that will “send germs packing”. It’s alcohol free and safe if swallowed. This will totally come in handy for the upcoming cold/flu season. (Retail Price: $5.99)
Eve Organics Dirty Hands Hand Sanitizer – Wow, someone must really think I’m germy. This hand sanitizer spray is chemical-free, vegan, and gluten-free. It features essential oils of lavender, lemon, tea tree, and peppermint. Although it looks small, it’s the same size (2 fl. oz.) as the other sanitizer above. Weird. (Amazon Price: $6.95)
Bumkins Dr. Seuss melamine bowl – Cute kid-sized Dr. Seuss bowl featuring the Cat in the Hat. When I looked this up on Amazon, I noticed that they also have a pink “Cindy Lou Who” one too… I would MUCH rather have gotten that one, but this one’s alright. I’ve just never been a big “Cat in the Hat” fan. He annoyed me. 😉 (Amazon Price: $4.95)
My True Nature Bubble Bath – I’ve gotten other bath products from this brand and they were pretty great, so I was glad to see this one. This bubble bath is made from plant-based ingredients (of which 71% are organic). It also contains essential oils, so the result is big, naturally scented bubbles. (Amazon Price: Roughly $1.70)
BumBoosa Baby Wipes – I received 7 one-use samples of these eco-friendly wipes. They’re made from renewable bamboo and are naturally scented with essential oils. They’re also 100% biodegradable. (Amazon Price: Roughly $0.70)
Bella Organics Juicy Apple Lip Balm – One more “mom gift”. This is a 100% organic lip balm made with all-natural, edible ingredients. In “Juicy Apple” for autumn. (Retail Price: $3.50)
PostalPix prints – This is a nice little “bonus”… Download the free PostalPix app and use the code on the back of this card to receive 7 FREE photos, shipping included. Love this! I’ll be putting this to use very soon! (Retail Value: $7.58)
Once again, Ecocentric Mom came through with another awesome box. I’m always impressed by the quality of the products they send each month. Even though the box looked a little emptier than usual, the value of the items far exceeded the price I paid. When I total everything up, it comes to $52.62!! Crazy!
