Like last month, my Vegan Presence package showed up a little later than usual. However, unlike last month, it was totally worth the wait!
If you’re not aware, Vegan Presence is a monthly subscription box service that features — you guessed it — 100% vegan-friendly products. Items can range from food to beauty to household essentials. You never really know what you’re gonna get, but you can rest assured that it’ll always be totally cruelty-free. (And packaged prettily too!)
Unfortunately, the April package — as awesome as it was — also came with some bad news. 🙁 I’ll save that until the end though. First, let’s see what’s in those pretty, spring-y packages up there!
Sjaak’s Half Foil Egg filled with Peanut Butter Eggs – Woohoo! I LOVE Sjaak’s vegan chocolates! I was so excited to see this nestled in those pink squigglies. It’s a “milk” chocolate “half egg” filled with foil-wrapped peanut butter eggs. It’s organic, vegan, non-GMO and freakin’ delicious.
Juniper Seed Mercantile Washable/Reusable Unpaper Cloths – This is a set of six 5×8 bamboo fabric facial cloths. They’re ridiculously soft and can be used for a variety of things including baby wipes, makeup removers, hankies, etc. I’ll probably use mine for baby washcloths. They also included a little mesh bag to keep the cloths together when you throw them in the wash.
Juniper Seed Mercantile Herbal Foot Soak – This is a single-use sample of herbal foot soak made with epsom salts, various herbs, and essential oils. You steep this in 2 cups of boiling water for 5 minutes, then add it to a tub of warm water, plop your feet in, and get your pamperin’ on.
Authority Nail Lacquer in Gumdrop – Ooh! I was so happy to see nail polish in this month’s package! I don’t have any pink shades like this, so it’s perfect. Authority polish is 5-free, vegan and made in the USA. Love it!

Glamour Doll Eyes Mineral Eye Shadow in Hitch Hiker – This is probably the only product I wasn’t too thrilled about. I do wear eyeshadow on occasion, but this bright yellow/gold shade just doesn’t do it for me. Ah well. The rest of the package more than makes up for this one dud.
This is probably one of my favorite Vegan Presence packages to date! Unfortunately, it’s also one of the last. 🙁
Sadly, they’ve decided to call it quits on the subscription service after June’s package goes out. I’m beyond bummed, since it was one of my absolute favorite subs and I totally looked forward to it every month. Thankfully, there are still 2 more shipments to go, so there’s still more goodies to come.
Once July rolls around, I’m gonna be one sad, Vegan Presence-grievin’ vegan mamma.
