Let’s see what’s in the August 2022 Amoda Tea box!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box with a white Amoda Tea logo in the center.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the teas included in August’s box, as well as tasting notes for each one.
All of the teas were individually packaged in resealable pouches with labels noting their tasting notes, caffeine content, brewing instructions, and full ingredient list.
Jolene’s Tea House “Mandarin & Mint”
This high-caffeine tea is a good choice to get you up and going in the morning. It’s made with 100% organic ingredients comprised of premium black tea, peppermint, orange peel, ginger, and sweet orange essential oil. It can be enjoyed both hot or iced. I can’t say that I’m a big fan of fruit + mint combos, but since the info card describes the mint as not overpowering I’m willing to give it a try. 🙂
Thesaurus Tea “Monkey Kong”
Another high-caffeine blend, “Monkey Kong” is a fruity & slightly floral tea that’s jam-packed with flavor. It features a colorful mix of black tea, blackberry leaves, rose petals, linden and safflower petals, banana pieces, coconut, cranberry pieces, cherry pieces & stems, and natural organic compliant flavors. Oh, and yes, it was indeed inspired by the classic arcade video game “Donkey Kong”. 😉
Steve’s Artisan Tea “Peach Ice Cream Delight”
I’m hoping this tea tastes as delicious as it smells, because man does it smell goooood. The only caffeine-free blend of the bunch, “Peach Ice Cream Delight” features a summery mix of apples, rosehips, hibiscus, peach pieces, chamomile petals, and natural flavors. When steeped, the tea turns a pretty red hue. It can be enjoyed hot, over ice, or even made into tea popsicles. Mmm!
Thesaurus Tea “Uma Gahd”
Named in honor of Uma Gahd — the “Drag Queen of the North”, this white tea blend is bursting with fruity flavors. It features a commingling of Pai Mu Tan white tea, blackberries, linden flowers, blue pea flowers, lemon pieces, and natural flavoring. When brewed, the tea takes on a gorgeous shade of purple! Enjoy hot or over ice.
Biodegradable Tea Filters
A roll of disposable/100% biodegradable tea filters are also included in every box. I didn’t count them, but it looks to be plenty to use with the included teas. Additional filters can also be purchased as an “add-on”.
Postcard
Similar to last month’s image, this month’s postcard featured a refreshing glass of iced tea served with zesty lemon slices.
August’s Amoda Tea shipment included a nice selection of black, white and herbal blends. I’m most looking forward to sipping “Monkey Kong”, “Peace Ice Cream Delight”, and “Uma Gahd”. Yum! 🙂
