Amoda Tea is a premium tea subscription box that sends hand picked tea samples to your door every month.
Each box will include 4 high quality teas (enough for 12+ cups) and disposable/biodegradable tea filters, along with printed tasting notes and steeping instructions for each selection. Amoda Tea focuses on finding and featuring fun brands & small-batch tea blenders from all over North America. Two box options are currently available: The Original Monthly Box and The Low Caff (for the caffeine sensitive).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $20/month and shipping is free.
Let’s see what’s in the February 2023 Amoda Tea box!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box with a white Amoda Tea logo in the center.
A peek inside!
A 2-sided info card included a bubble tea recipe on one side, with a message about this month’s tea selections on the other. The QR code printed at the bottom gives you access to additional info on the teas as well as a video on chocolate & tea pairing at home.
All of the teas were individually packaged in resealable pouches with labels noting their tasting notes, caffeine content, brewing instructions, and full ingredient list.
Naked Teas Galore “Cinnamon Crisp”
Oooh… This sounds like the perfect “cozy” tea to enjoy on a brisk fall or winter’s day. It features an aromatic blend of organic red rooibos, cinnamon, apple, almonds, calendula, and natural flavors. It’s caffeine free, allowing it to be sipped any time of day without the fear of post-tea jitters.
Dessert by Deb “Sugar Plum Coffee Cake”
What a pretty blend! — This sweet, fruity tea is ideal for breakfast time, due to its high caffeine content that will help get you moving. It features a delicious blend of organic black tea, cinnamon, blueberry & raspberry pieces, natural plum flavor, and red/pink/white cornflower petals. Enjoy it as is or with milk for a creamy latte!
Dessert by Deb “Hojicha Chocolate Cream Pie”
It’s a chocolate cream pie in dessert form! “Hojicha Chocolate Cream Pie” from Dessert by Deb is comprised of organic ingredients including roasted green tea, cacao nibs, coconut, and cocoa powder. It’s low in caffeine and can be enjoyed alone or with milk for a creamy chocolate latte treat. Yum!
Cultivate Taste “Enchanted Soul Warmer”
Cultivate Taste describes this tea as “a hug you can give yourself” in that “each sip feels like you are warming your soul”. The high caffeine blend features just three organic ingredients: Assam black tea, elderberries, and cloves. It’s a great tea to enjoy during the cooler months, but of course can be sipped year-round.
Biodegradable Tea Filters
A roll of disposable/100% biodegradable tea filters are also included in every box. I didn’t count them, but it looks to be plenty to use with the included teas. Additional filters can also be purchased as an “add-on”.
My February 2023 Amoda Tea shipment included a nice sampling of dessert- and winter-inspired blends. I’m most looking forward to sipping “Cinnamon Crisp”, “Sugar Plum Coffee Cake”, and “Hojicha Chocolate Cream Pie”. 🙂
