Subscriptions are $20/month and shipping is free.
Let’s see what’s in the November 2022 Amoda Tea box!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box with a white Amoda Tea logo in the center.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the teas included in November’s box, as well as tasting notes for each one.
All of the teas were individually packaged in resealable pouches with labels noting their tasting notes, caffeine content, brewing instructions, and full ingredient list.
Plum Deluxe “Fireside Chat”
“Fireside Chat” is a high caffeine offering that features Lapsang Souchong, a black tea from China that gives the blend a unique smokey flavor. Additional ingredients include rooibos, cinnamon, ginger, cocoa nibs, safflower, calendula, vanilla, walnut, and chocolate essences. This is a great tea to enjoy by a cozy fire!
Dessert by Deb “Coconut Cream Pie Chai”
This dessert-inspired tea almost looks like homemade granola and I’m guessing it’s just as tasty. 🙂 It features a warming blend of certified organic black tea, coconut, toasted coconut, ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom. The flavor combo sounds amazing and I can’t wait to steep a cup & enjoy it with a splash of almond milk. Yum!
Plum Deluxe “Toasted Marshmallow Blend”
A limited edition autumn tea (only available September-February), “Toasted Marshmallow” gives you the flavor of fire-roasted marshmallows without the gooey mess. Or calories. 😉 The blend features decaffeinated black tea, marshmallow root, apple pieces, safflower, and vanilla essence. Thanks to being decaf, you can enjoy this any time of day. Woo!
Hojicha Powder
Hojicha is a traditional Japanese tea made from roasted green tea leaves milled to the consistency of matcha. It has a smooth and naturally sweet taste with nutty, roasted flavors. It’s naturally low in caffeine, making it great for an evening latte. To use, simply whisk 1 teaspoon of powder into 2 oz of hot water. Pour mixture into a mug and top with 6-8 oz of hot water (or milk for a latte).
Biodegradable Tea Filters
A roll of disposable/100% biodegradable tea filters are also included in every box. I didn’t count them, but it looks to be plenty to use with the included teas. Additional filters can also be purchased as an “add-on”.
Postcard
This month’s postcard featured an autumnal tea scene complete with a filled cup & saucer, pumpkins, a vase of flowers, and a leaf-printed tablecloth.
November’s Amoda Tea shipment included a nice selection of black and green blends. I love the cozy autumn vibes and am most looking forward to sipping “Coconut Cream Pie Chai”, “Toasted Marshmallow Blend”, and “Fireside Chat”. 🙂
