Let’s see what’s in the Winter 2016 Beautycon Box!
A peek inside. — Not too pretty, but packed with stuff!
The Winter 2016 box was curated by top beauty and fashion influencer Dulce Candy! An info card listed all of the items I’d find inside, along with their social media handles.
Luxie Beauty Rose Gold Tapered Highlighting Brush 522 ($24)
A 100% vegan, cruelty-free brush that’s perfect for an everyday highlighting tool. It features a pretty pale pink handle and rose gold accents.
Skinvolve Body Karate Cream ($39.99)
This daily body cream is blended with pure caffeine and argan oil to moisturize, improve skin texture and tone. The caffeine helps increase circulation while argan oil nourishes the skin with its anti-aging and hydrating properties. The formula is vegan and both sulfate and paraben free!
L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Primer Base ($7.99) & Voluminous Feline Mascara ($8.99)
When applied before your mascara, L’Oréal’s Voluminous Primer instantly creates a boosting effect, building dramatic volume and length on each lash. It also conditions lashes over time for soft, nourished lashes. Perfect to use with their Voluminous Feline Mascara, which provides instant volume and full lash density in a waterproof formula.
ColourPop Beautycon Exclusive Lipstick ($5)
A Beautycon exclusive shade from ColourPop, “Beautycon Pink” is only available in this Winter 2016 Beautycon box! It’s a medium to full coverage lipstick with a creamy feel and glossy finish.
Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water ($5)
An all-in-1 cleansing water that effectively removes makeup, cleanses, and refreshes skin. It’s alcohol-free and is safe for all skin types — even sensitive.
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer ($7.99)
This medium/deep bronzer includes the natural, therapeutic effects of real cocoa powder along with their signature bronzing pigments resulting in a unique matte bronzer that neutralizes red and evens out and enhances all skin tones. It leaves your complexion with a flawless finish and a subtly sweet scent.
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment ($24)
Claiming to be “Hollywood’s 2 Minute Facial”, this intensive exfoliating treatment deep cleans clogged pores without over-drying skin. The formula contains a blend of lactic acid and fruit enzymes — including papaya, pineapple, and pumpkin — to reveal smooth skin and a brighter, healthier-looking complexion in as little as one use.
Rimmel London The Only 1 Surprise Lipcolor ($8)
I believe subscribers could have gotten a variety of different shades of this lipstick. I received “Call Me Crazy”, which is a bright coral-y red color. It promises long-lasting color, comfort, moisture and wear.
Biobelle Botanic Fiber Facial Mask ($5)
This brightening mask helps to diminish the appearance of blemishes and dark spots, as well as prep the skin for makeup application. The mask itself is composed of Tencel, an all-natural and biodegradable fiber that adheres perfectly to every facial contour, allowing it to deliver the serum like no other mask.
Artist Couture Illuminati Diamond Glow Powder ($14)
This all natural loose powder is suitable for light to dark skin tones. It can be used on your face as a highlighter, or even on your eyes, lips and body. It’s finely milled and boasts a light silver and champagne iridescence.
Ali & Jay Gift Card ($50)
A gift card good for $50 off a $100 or more order at ali-jay.com was also included. (I won’t be using it, so feel free to use the code above!)
Whew! That was a lot of stuff! — The Winter 2016 Beautycon Box had a crazy high total retail value of $150 — not including the gift card. Crazy! Can’t beat that value from a $29 box. 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “ROSEWINTER“!
