BuddhiBox is a subscription box that focuses on yoga and healthy living.
Each month you’ll receive 4-6 full sized products to assist in your yoga practice, as well as everyday life. All products are from ethical, socially conscious companies and a portion of all boxes sold is donated to a different non-profit organization every month.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $30.95/month or less with multi-month commitments. They also offer a smaller box, the BBEO or BuddhiBox Essential Oils, that features 2-3 products including an essential oil. — New subscribers can save 20% on your first month with coupon code “yogaaddict“!
Let’s see what’s in my June 2019 BuddhiBox!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box.
A peek inside!
BuddhiBox packs all of the items into a canvas bag featuring a new yogi-inspired phrase/mantra each month.
An info card included descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicated if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free.
BuddhiBox Fire Opal Sun Necklace ($35)
This pretty necklace features a short gold chain with a fiery sun pendant, whose center is made of a shimmery opalescent material. It was designed to “emanate the fire and intensity of our power uncapped”. I’m just kinda bummed that it’s gold, since I only wear silver jewelry. :/
Meli the Dreaming Yogi Sunshine in a Bottle Essential Oil Blend ($20)
Mmmm… This roll-on smells SO nice! It contains a citrusy blend of wild orange, lemon, and grapefruit essential oils, along with calendula petals, citrine, and clear quartz crystals for added benefits. You can apply it to your naval to activate your solar plexus center, or anywhere else that you would normally use a roll-on oil. (Just don’t apply it to skin that will be directly exposed to the sun.)
BuddhiBox Faceted Dyed Jade Lower Chakras Radiance Bracelet ($25)
I was happy to see a second jewelry item, but sad to see that like the other piece, it also featured gold details. Ah well. According to the info card, this bracelet is a “joyful celebration of the first through third chakras” and is to serve as a reminder that you are “brilliant as 1000 suns”. It’s composed of faceted multi-colored beads, along with two small charms — a sunburst and the word radiance.
Vahdam Tea Sampler ($10)
Vahdam Teas have been featured in a LOT of subscription boxes lately, including this one. (I’m honestly sick of seeing them at this point.) This little box contained 5 different varieties to sample: Organic Himalayan Green Tea, Turmeric Spiced, Chamomile Mint Citrus, Darjeeling Summer, and India’s Original Chai Tea. (I’m not sure where they got the $10 value from, but I’m sure you can get 5 tea bags for a LOT less.)
Gypsy Soul Organics “Moon” Solid Perfume ($30)
This solid perfume is made with all natural ingredients including sweet almond oil, beeswax, ylang ylang flower, and lavender flower. It’s designed to combine with each individual’s chemistry to create a beautiful, unique, and personal fragrance. To use, simply warm perfume with your fingertips and apply to pulse points to activate its aromatherapy benefits.
Buddha Bowl Himalayan Pink Popcorn by Lesser Evil ($3.50)
BuddhiBox rarely includes snacks, so this was a fun surprise. This organic popcorn is made with non-GMO corn, organic extra virgin coconut oil, and Himalayan pink salt. The whole bag has just 50 calories and is both gluten free & vegan-friendly.
MoveMints ($10)
Originally designed for use with those wearing clear teeth aligners, these mints are specially formulated to be hard for long lasting enjoyment with no sticky residue. They’re sugar-free (sweetened with xylitol), as well as gluten free, vegan, and are diabetic-friendly.
BuddhiBox Sun Salutation Reference Card ($5)
This 5″ x 7″ card is printed with images of the flow of sun salutation to help guide your practice effortlessly.
This month’s featured yoga pose was “Parivrtta Anjaneyasana” (aka The Revolved Lunge Pose). Full “instructions” were included on the reverse side of the card.
Another eclectic selection of yogi-inspired items from BuddhiBox! My favorites this month were the Sunshine in a Bottle Essential Oil Blend, Gypsy Soul Organics Solid Perfume, and Buddha Bowls Himalayan Salt Popcorn. The total value of everything in June’s box was just under $140. However, a lot of the prices on the card seem to be a bit inflated, so it’s probably closer to $100-120 (which is still a great value). — Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save 20% on your first month with coupon code “yogaaddict“!
