Ipsy Glam Bag January 2015 Review

Ipsy wants you to prepare for a “fantastic and flawless 2015” — starting with January’s “Fresh Start” Glam Bag. I wasn’t too thrilled with this month’s Birchbox (reviewed here), so I was hoping Ipsy would kinda make up for that… Let’s see!

If you’re new here, Ipsy is a beauty subscription that sends subscribers a monthly “Glam Bag” full of cosmetics and beauty accessories for just $10/month. When you sign up, you take a “beauty quiz” to determine your likes/dislikes, makeup preferences, etc. This helps Ipsy learn which products to send in your Glam Bag. Each bag will contain 4-6 full sized and deluxe sample sized products from top cosmetics brands. [read more…]

It’s a new year and Love With Food wants you to “Live. Laugh. Restore.”. At least that’s what January’s info card says. How those 3 words relates to the actual snacks is anyone’s guess. 😉

My regular Citrus Lane box is still hanging out somewhere in Ohio, but for whatever reason my mom’s box got delivered yesterday. We live like 20 minutes apart, so I have no idea what’s up with that silliness. Anywhooo… let’s check it out!

If you haven’t heard, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription for babies/kids aged newborn-5. In December, Try the World sent me their limited edtion Holiday Box for review and I was really impressed. The presentation and packaging were top notch, as were the gourmet goodies inside. Naturally, when they asked if I wanted to review their new Venice box, I happily agreed.

If you haven’t heard, Try the World is a subscription service that invites your taste buds to explore a new city every sixty days. Each box will include 7-10 locally made/grown gourmet goodies as well as cultural finds — such as music playlists and movie recommendations — produced in the city being featured.
