“Life is short. Wear glitter.” — Words of wisdom according to this month’s Ipsy Glam Bag. November’s theme is “Girl meets Glitter” and features products that add a little sparkle and shine to your everyday look.

Ipsy is a beauty subscription that sends subscribers a monthly “Glam Bag” full of cosmetics and beauty accessories for just $10/month. When you sign up, you take a “beauty quiz” to determine your likes/dislikes, makeup preferences, etc. This helps Ipsy learn which products to send in your Glam Bag. Each bag will contain 4-6 full sized and deluxe sample sized products from top cosmetics brands. [read more…]

Although Kloverbox is still a fairly new subscription box, it’s already become one of my favorites. Every month I look forward to discovering what new eco-friendly goodies I’ll find inside. I haven’t been let down yet!

Each month you’ll receive 4-6 products (a mix of samples and full sized items) to assist in your yoga practice, as well as everyday life. I’ve been getting Darby Smart’s “To DIY For” box for a couple months now and am finally getting around to reviewing one. — October’s project was just way too cool not to share here. Plus, I’m kinda impressed by how well I did with it. (Hey, it’s a big deal for someone as craft-challenged as I am!)

Darby Smart is a DIY/craft box that has project kits for everyone — from simple beaded bracelets and candle kits, to mosaic coasters and personalized totes. The kits contain everything you need to complete your project and prices start at just $6! You can subscribe to their monthly “To DIY For” box, or purchase a one-time kit from their shop. Oh hey — It’s another October Citrus Lane review! This is actually the third box I received this month — the first one was my “regular” box, the second was a mystery box, and this one is the box my mom subscribes to. Triple the goodies!

Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription for babies/kids aged newborn-5. It’s $29/month (less with longer term subscriptions) and includes a nice assortment of toys, books, snacks, toiletries, etc. Sometimes they even include a gift for mom.
