Orange Glad is a monthly subscription box that features gourmet desserts. Cookies, brownies, cakes, candies — if you’ve got a taste for sweets, this is totally a box for you!

Orange Glad carefully selects the yummiest treats from sweets shops and bakeries all over the country. Each dessert box will contain five deluxe gourmet treats delivered fresh to your door. The info card indicates when you should eat each treat in order to ensure maximum freshness.

Lunch Balancer Healthy Meal Box Review & 25% Discount Code

Lunch Balancer is a premier subscription service that delivers a monthly box of healthy foods — enough for 5 meals — right to your door.

The meals are put together by Dr. Gabe Smolarz (an endocrinologist) and Sari Smolarz (a clinical nutritionist) and are centered around high protein, low carb foods. Everything comes in convenient, single-serve packages to make it super easy to eat good on the go. Because the focus is on high protein/low carb, you’ll feel more full and satisfied, and therefore less likely to snack between meals. So if you’re looking to drop a few pounds, this box might help you get on the right track.

Lunch Balancer consists of roughly 20 or so food items, all of which are labeled with a colored dot. The inner lid has a chart that lists all of the items, broken into groups based on the dot colors. Each color equals a full meal. (This will probably make more sense further into the review. It’s a simple concept, I promise!)

Pennie Post is a brand new subscription service that offers beautifully designed stationery items delivered to you on a monthly basis.

Each package will contain at least 3 different items. These can include greeting cards, note cards, postcards, gift tags, and more. Commonly used cards (Birthday, Thank You, etc) will be sent most often, as well as holiday-themed cards during their corresponding times of the year.

Sudsy Box is a new subscription box that sends you 3 full-sized handmade bars of soap every other month. They also include a little extra “surprise gift” in every box (lip balm, bath salts, etc.). Awesome!

The soaps are all natural and handmade by Heidi’s Artisan Soap. They’re vegan, gluten-free and contain zero artificial colors or fragrances. Each box highlights the scents of the particular season in which it’s shipped. (You can see my Spring Edition review here.)

Every28 is a brand new subscription box for that oh-so-lovely “time of the month”. Yep, it’s a period box. 😉

Every28 offers a totally customizable experience. First you choose whether you want pads, liners, tampons, or a mix of each. Next, you pick the brands you want, along with the total amount of products. Then you just choose your delivery date and you’re good to go!

There are 3 different plans available, based on how many products you’d like: $15 (1-20 products), $20 (21-40), and $25 (41-60). All plans include shipping and a chocolate treat!

Kawaii Surprises Japanese Mystery Package Review

Kawaii Surprises is an online store that features candies, trinkets, and other fun goodies sent right to you from Japan. In addition to selling individual items, they also offer a variety of “surprise packages” with quite a few different themes. Bento, Pocky, Hello Kitty — if it’s cute, there’s probably a surprise box for it!

I’ve always loved overly cutesy Japanese novelty items, so I was thrilled when Kawaii Surprises offered to send me a mystery package for review. They sent their popular “Kawaii Surprise Package” that includes a variety of Japanese candy & goods.

The package took about a month to arrive and when I saw the envelope on my porch the other day, I could not WAIT to open it up! (Warning: Repeated use of the word “cute” ahead! Yep, even more than usual!) [read more…]

Ecocentric Mom “Mom & Baby” Box May/June 2014 Review

Ecocentric Mom recently switched from a monthly box to an every-other-month box. This is the third box I’ve received on their new “schedule”. I’ve been pretty happy with the change, as the boxes are still full of great stuff and now I have more time to use them between shipments. I’ve also noticed that they’ve been including more fun kiddo things like books, which is nice.

As always, I received the “Mom & Baby” box. The other two options available are a “Mom-to-Be Box” and just a plain ol’ “Mom” box. Subscriptions are $24/every-other-month, but they often have discount codes available that are usually good for the life of your sub. (I was able to score a discounted subscription not too long ago and now my boxes are only $18/month. Not bad!)

Conscious Box is a monthly subscription box that features eco-friendly/natural products. Items range from healthy snacks, to natural toothpaste, and everything in between. There are 3 different boxes to choose from: The Vegan Box (which I normally get), The Gluten-Free Box, and the Classic Box.

Boxes were always $19.95/month, but they’ve recently announced 2 new box options: The Plus (as low as $16.95/mo) and the Taster (as low as $6.95/mo). Citrus Lane May 2014 Review #2 and Memorial Day Offer

My “regular” Citrus Lane box finally arrived today. I reviewed the May box that my mom got a few days ago here. Last month she got hers like a week late, and this month she got it before I got mine. (We live like 20 minutes away from one another.) Why you gotta be all weird with shipping, Citrus Lane? Yeesh.

Anywhooo… If you’re new to them, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription for babies/kids aged newborn-5. It’s $29/month (cheaper with longer subs) and includes a nice assortment of toys, books, snacks, toiletries, etc. Sometimes they even include a gift for mom. (Not this time… )

bluum May 2014 Review & 50% Off First Box!

Yay! My May bluum box came today! It usually seems to take a lot longer, so I was surprised to see it here already. — Hey, I’m not complaining!

bluum is a monthly subscription box for babies & kiddos from birth through age 5. Each box contains 5 or more products that are responsibly sourced, eco-friendly and often organic.

There used to be monthly “themes”, but they’ve moved away from that and instead curate each box based upon your child’s current age in months. bluum also just announced that they’ve joined forces with Stork Stack, so anyone who had a subscription with them (Stork Stack) will now be receiving boxes from bluum instead.

My girls are currently 21 months old, so the bluum box I received was for 22 months. Let’s see what they sent! [read more…]
