Rebel + Saint Box Cause is a lifestyle subscription box that supports women–owned companies who offer mission driven products that give back to charity.
Each box will include a collection of 4-6 hand-selected items in categories ranging from home decor, to beauty & wellness products, gourmet food & cocktail mixers, pooch treats, garden items, and more. Rebel + Saint Box Cause partners with companies that give back a portion of their proceeds to various causes — such as donating to domestic violence shelters, helping to end hunger, animal rescue missions, improving the planet by giving back to nature, wilderness defense programs, and firefighter/first responder organizations.
Disclosure: Box was received for review. Post may contain affiliate links.
Subscriptions are $79.99/month, with options to upgrade to larger (increased item) plans.
Let’s see what’s in my July 2021 Rebel + Saint Box Cause!
Note: This box also includes a few (3) “bonus items” given to new customers. These are marked with an *.
All of the items were tucked into a black box tied with a pink polka dotted ribbon.
A peek inside!
There wasn’t any sort of information card enclosed, so I’ll describe the items as best as I can.
I initially thought that this was a “regular” bar soap, but later discovered on their website that it’s actually a shampoo bar. Either way, the scent is fantastic and hit me as soon as I opened the box. The bar is formulated with all natural ingredients that enhance your hair’s volume & texture, while helping to soothe dry, itchy/flaky scalp.
This cotton/linen blend apron is lightweight, comfortable, and versatile. — When folded in half, it can easily become a “cafe apron” (half apron). It also features an adjustable neck strap and three front pockets (it looks like one large pocket, but is actually 3 smaller ones). I wish I were actually a fan of perfume, but this could still come in handy nonetheless. 😉
Welp, this is one of the most deliciously scented candles that I’ve received in a long time. — It. is. AWESOME. Not only does it smell like the sweetest of strawberry-flavored treats, it’s topped with flower petals and glitter — making it look just as magical as it smells. This was handcrafted in Georgia using US-grown soy wax, an eco wick, and locally sourced herbs. LOVE IT!
I am SO looking forward to making some authentic red curry with this easy 7-step “Thai for Two” kit! Red curry (with tofu) is actually my go-to dish at our favorite Thai place but I never want to buy all of the ingredients to recreate it at home. The kit above includes everything needed (minus the veggies/protein) to make a tasty meal for two: Dried Red Curry Paste, Organic Dried Herbs, Red Curry Seasoning, and Coconut Milk — all pre-portioned and ready to use. Easy!!
This bright pink (and yellow) sugar scrub is formulated with plant-based glycerin — which attracts water into your skin — as opposed to oil which repels it away. It’s also infused with shower gel so you can “scrub and go”. What it doesn’t have is animal by-products, as it’s 100% vegan and cruelty-free!
“Excite” aromatherapy linen spray features a blend of essential oils including grapefruit, orange, patchouli, jasmine, neroli, and sandalwood. It’s designed to “invigorate the senses and evoke passion & desire”. It was made here in the USA and is free of phthalates, parabens, sulfates, formaldehyde, and other icky stuff.
Infused with purple Brazilian clay to nourish & detoxify the skin, this soothing bath bomb is sure to create a calm & luxurious bathtime experience. It’s scented with a floral/earthy blend of lavender & geranium essential oils and is 100% vegan-friendly.
I honestly had no idea what this was until I opened it up… (I was expecting maybe a lip gloss or solid perfume.) Needless to say, I was surprised to find a tin-full of wildflower seeds. 😉 Selected for their ability to attract hummingbirds, the seeds are a mix of sixteen different varieties of flowers. Planting instructions were included as well.
Dirt Bag Beauty makes a line of beauty products that are toxin-free, eco-friendly, and mostly vegan. I received three of their masks in July’s box: Pretty in Pink (detoxifying facial mask), Love You Matcha (AHA & BHA resurfacing facial mask), and Pucker Up Buttercup (exfoliating lip mask & polish). I’m not much of a mask user due to my super sensitive skin, so these will be passed along to someone who will appreciate ’em. 🙂
I really enjoyed my July 2021 Rebel + Saint Box Cause collection! There was such a great assortment of items from bath & beauty products, to kitchen essentials, to scented delights… A little something for everyone! My personal favorites were the Old World Apothecary Co. candle, Verve Culture Thai for Two kit, Buck Naked Soap Company Mermaid Bar, and The Therapist Essentials Room & Linen Spray. 😀
