Let’s see what’s in my April 2018 Chococurb box!
Everything was shipped in a small turquoise box with a white Chococurb logo on top.
A peek inside!
K’UL Chocolate Hazelnut & Orange
My first thought upon seeing this gorgeous chocolate bar was “yeeeah, that’s definitely NOT going to be vegan”. Turns out, it totally WAS! — Emphasis on “was” because I devoured the whole thing in one sitting. The bar featured 70% dark chocolate studded with crunchy hazelnuts and sweet dried orange peel. To be honest, I would have been happy with just the hazelnuts, but that didn’t stop me from eating every morsel of this thing. 😉
Mayana Chocolate Monkey Bar Mini
Mayana chocolates pop up quite often in Chococurb. This particular bar is one I haven’t received before and is made with banana rum caramel & vanilla bean marshmallow, all covered in 66% dark chocolate. A great treat for anyone who enjoys a chocolate/banana combo.
Elements Truffles Ayurveda Inspired Artisanal Chocolate
This beautifully packaged, dairy-free chocolate bar was inspired by & designed in accordance with Ayurveda, the ancient Indian science of medicine. It contains absolutely no refined sugar, preservatives, soy, or artificial ingredients. Ingredients include organic raw cacao butter, raw honey, raw cacao powder, peppermint essential oil, lavender essential oil, organic lavender flowers, and Himalayan sea salt.
Theo Milk Chocolate Lemon Bar
This limited edition bar is part of Theo’s “Spring Collection”. It features organic/fair trade milk chocolate infused with lemon essential oil and ground vanilla beans for a sweet, slightly tart flavor experience. It’s gluten-free, soy free, and a perfect treat to celebrate the end to winter.
Ticket Chocolate Hot Chocolate on a Stick
Here’s another item that completely shocked me by being vegan-friendly. 🙂 It’s “hot chocolate on a stick”, which turns into actual hot chocolate when dunked/stirred into a cup of warm milk. Ingredients include cocoa butter, sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, natural vanilla flavor, and sea salt.
I was thrilled to see not one, but two delicious vegan-friendly treats in this month’s Chococurb box! The chocolate hazelnut bar was delicious and I’m looking forward to indulging in that hot chocolate on a stick. 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to try Chococurb you can save 10% on your first order with coupon code “ROSEBUDS“!
