Let’s see what’s in the October 2015 DancingMooney Monthly box!
A look inside. Festive!
There wasn’t a traditional info card with a list of contents, but they did include a little note/intro to the October Halloween/pumpkin themed box. (Yep, they had me at “pumpkin”.)
The Soap! – October’s featured soaps were Lavender Pumpkin and Pumpkin Latte. I would never have thought to pair lavender with pumpkin, but it actually kinda works. It has a sweet, yet relaxing scent that definitely screams autumn. Pumpkin Latte is a more traditional coupling that smells good enough to eat. The coffee grounds may not look too pretty in the soap, but their scent totally makes up for it. 😉
Candle – I don’t believe this is handmade, but it’s a candle and I love me some candles. 😉 The scent is “Mexican Pumpkin”, which is clearly the perfect choice to include in this box.
Spider Web Earrings – These cute spider web earrings are made with silver-toned charms and silver-plated ear wires. The wires are both lead- and nickel-free. A perfect accessory for Halloween!
Halloween Paper Garland – I love this! I wasn’t quite sure what it was until I took it out of the package and saw that all of the paper circles were stitched together. Then I was surprised by how long it was… I didn’t measure it, but it has to be at least 10 feet. I hung it up along side our Halloween light strand in the kitchen and it looks so festive!
L.A. Colors Color Craze Nail Polish – So pretty! This glittery polish totally reminds me of something I would have worn in the 80’s. (Yep, I’m old.)
Candy! – Also included was a little Halloween treat bag filled with assorted candies (and a couple glow-in-the-dark spiders). 😀
I definitely enjoyed October’s DancingMooney Monthly box! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the soaps smell incredible and I love all of the other Halloween-y goodies. The paper garland was probably my favorite and is something I’ll totally be displaying every October. A great box for anyone who likes homemade soaps and cutesy seasonal stuff (like me!). 🙂Browse more Indie and Artisan Boxes in my Subscription Box Directory
