Degusta Box is a subscription box that sends an assortment of food and drink products to your door every month.
Each box will feature at least 10 full-sized products (as well as samples) from a variety of high quality brands. Items can include popcorn, jams, snack bars, beverages, condiments, nut butters, candies, nuts, and more. The mission of Degusta Box is to help introduce you to new brands and products for less that you’d pay for them in store. The total value will always exceed the cost of the monthly subscription.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $19.99/month with free shipping within the US.
Let’s see what’s in the February 2019 Degusta Box!
As always, everything was shipped in a big box with the Degusta Box logo on the side.
A peek in the box!
An info sheet listed all of the items inside, as well as brief descriptions, photos, and retail prices for each one.
Bean Smash! Bean Snack/Dip ($1.49 each)
Two different flavors of Bean Smash! were included in February’s Degusta Box: Chipotle Black Bean and Cheesy Pinto Bean. I’ve tried the black bean one not too long ago and it was quite good! You can enjoy these alone as a protein-packed snack, or paired with chips & veggies as a dip. To make, simply fill with water to the line indicated on the label, microwave for 75 seconds, let stand for 5 minutes, and enjoy!
These popped (NOT fried) corn snacks are made with non-GMO corn, cheddar cheese, buttermilk, and other natural ingredients. They’re gluten-free and contain no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. Two single-serving bags were included.
I haven’t had sourdough pretzels in years, so I was excited to see these in the box. These ring-shaped pretzels are crafted with real malted barley and a dash of hops for a truly unique snack. They’re also non-GMO and contain no trans fats, artificial colors/flavors, additives, or preservatives.
These single serve peanut butter powder packets have 87% less fat & about 1/3 of the calories compared to regular peanut butter. They’re made with just 3 simple ingredients: peanuts, coconut palm sugar and kosher salt. To use, simply mix with the specified amount of water and enjoy in any recipe that calls for peanut butter.
Organic, grain-free treats made with coconut, agave syrup, almond flour, vanilla extract, and other natural ingredients. Each cookie has just 100 calories and is both vegan-friendly & gluten-free. Yum!
Raindrops Candy Taco ($4.99)
Welp, I guess you never know what you’ll find in a Degusta Box… 😉 This “candy taco” is actually a collection of fruit-flavored gummy candies arranged in a cardboard taco shell. It contains 23 candies in all — in the shape of traditional taco fare including tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, ground beef, and salsa.
Manitou Trading Company Piri Piri Sauce Starter ($2.99)
Swahili for “pepper pepper”, Piri Piri sauce adds a zesty flavor to soups, stews, dips, dressing, marinades, and more. It’s non-GMO and made with all natural ingredients including bell peppers, hemp seeds, tomato powder, onion, paprika, scallions, and more.
This all natural seasoning combines the savory flavors of truffles, black garlic and parmesan cheese in a convenient, easy-to-use powder. Sprinkle it over popcorn, on roasted potatoes, risotto, pasta dishes, and more.
Just Add Classic Guacamole Quick Mix ($1.19 each)
You can whip up a batch of perfect guacamole in minutes with these convenient packets from Just Add. Simply scoop out the insides of two avocados, combine with packet mix, and stir until blended. Cover & chill for 30 minutes, then enjoy!
Yet another diverse assortment of snacks, pantry staples, treats, and more from Degusta Box! My personal favorites this time were the Bean Smash! dips, Emmy’s Coconut Cookies, Unique Sourdough Pretzels, and PBfit packets. 🙂
