Let’s see what’s in my February 2017 Dollar Shave Club box!
A peek inside! — I was sent additional products in my intro box for review purposes.
Info cards were included for each of the add-ons, letting you know how to best use them as well as highlighting some of their key ingredients.
I received Dollar Shave Club’s top-of-the-line razor — the 6-bladed “Executive”. It comes with 4 cartridges per box, which all feature 6 stainless steel blades that allow you to shave with ease. It also features a special trimmer edge built in “for the professional”. The handle itself is nice and weighty with a studded comfort grip.
This paraben/sulfate-free shave butter is designed to give you the smoothest shave ever. It’s formulated with natural, plant-based ingredients including oat extract, golden barley, Pacific sea algae, and prickly pear cactus. It’s a generously sized 6 ounce bottle and sells for only $8.
A rich, hydrating cream to help soothe the skin after shaving. It’s fast-absorbing, non-greasy, and provides long-lasting hydration with just a dime-sized drop. The formula includes aloe leaf juice, golden barley, prickly pear cactus, and protective antioxidants to help fight against environmental damage.
I believe these are newer offerings from Dollar Shave Club. The Wanderer shampoo includes hydrating pea protein and soothing balm mint that work their way down to the root for a deep clean. It’s sulfate-free so it won’t strip your hair of moisture or make your head feel dry and itchy. The conditioner is also free of sulfates, as well as parabens & synthetic dyes. It contains hair-softening chamomile & oil-controlling lemongrass to provide moisture without weighing it down. Both the shampoo and conditioner leave your scalp feeling cool and refreshed with a tingly mint finish.
Dollar Shave Club is a convenient, affordable way to get high quality shaving (and grooming!) products without having to leave the house (or pay overinflated prices). While I didn’t get to review them this time, I’m personally a big fan of their “One Wipe Charlies“. So soothing! 😉 — Remember, you can get your first box — includes a handle & 4 cartridges — for just $1.00 shipped!
February 2017 Dollar Shave Club Review
If I shaved my face, I’d be all about this subscription. 😉 It’s super affordable and the add-ons are high quality & smell fabulous (always important). Plus, you can’t beat getting a trial box with a razor and 4 cartridges for just $1 shipped! 😀
