Let’s see what’s in the Fall 2017 FabFitFun Box!
Such a pretty box design! — Even if it did get a little beat up/painted on(?).
A peek inside.
A full-color newspaper style booklet provided details on all of the items included in the Fall 2017 FabFitFun box, along with style tips, interviews, recipes, and more.
Mer-Sea & Co. Cozy Wrap ($98)
I know some subscribers say they’re sick of getting scarves/wraps in the Fall boxes, but I LOVE them. — And this one is no exception. It’s incredibly soft & cozy, with a generous size of approximately 93″ x 21″ including the fringe (which I just realized you can’t see in the photos above. Oops!). I’ll definitely be wearing/snuggling up with this as the days turn colder, but if you’re not into scarves, the info booklet suggests using it as a stylish bedrunner. 🙂 Subscribers could have received one of 3 different colors — blush, teal, or gray.
Trestique Matte Color & Shiny Balm Lip Crayon ($28)
I normally don’t get too excited about lip products since they’re usually too bold for me, but I was happy to see that this lip crayon/balm (in “Florence Fig”) was a shade I can actually wear. Yay! My photos didn’t quite capture the true representation of the shade though, which is much lighter/less red than it appears above. I love the cool magnetic cap and the fact that it also comes with a lip balm on the opposite end. Cool!
Private Party Gym Bag ($59)
When I saw this bag released as a spoiler, I wasn’t too into it. Now that I have it in my hands… Nope, definitely not into it. 😉 It’s just not my style. (Maybe if I actually went to the gym?) My own judgments aside, this 20″ x 9″ denim bag features cotton handles, an outside zipper compartment, an inner pocket, and the phrase “Meet me at the barre” in all caps on the side (other side is blank). Into the swap pile it goes!
MyTagAlongs Hot & Cold Gel Pack ($15)
This 10″ x 4″ gel pack is designed for both hot and cold therapy for soothing aches and pains. Just warm up in the microwave for heat therapy, or pop in the freezer for cool relief. I know it’s supposed to be cutesy, but I could do without the pop song references. I never was much of a Paula Abdul fan…
IMM Living Coxet Wire Heart Ceramic Jewelry Holder ($33)
This minimalistic jewelry holder features a geometric rose gold wire heart sitting upon a white porcelain base. It measures 5″ x 5″ x 5.5″ and can be used for both jewelry & other small trinkets. While I do like the design, I really don’t feel like the quality is something that justifies a $33 price tag. $10-15 at most. Just my 2 cents. 😉
Whish Beauty Renewing Mud Mask ($48)
A renewing mud mask made with natural ingredients including organic rose hip oil, kaolin, mucor miehei extract, bakuchiol, and mica. It works to exfoliate the skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and your face feeling soft & smooth. The formula is Leaping Bunny Certified and free of parabens, sulfates, pthalates, and petrochemicals.
Deco Miami Lavender Cuticle Oil ($12.50)
This lavender-scented cuticle oil contains an ultra-nourishing blend of vitamins and organic oils to help to keep your cuticles feeling soft, moisturized, and healthy. The formula is 8-free and vegan-friendly. And how adorable is that packaging?! 😀
B-Low the Belt Mia Belt ($55)
All subscribers were able to choose from a Cable Knit Beanie, or this Mia Belt. I picked the beanie for my regular box, but received the belt in this complimentary box that I received for referring 3 or more new subscribers. I was really hoping for a second hat, but I guess it’s cool that I got to check out the belt too. It’s made of vegan (faux) leather and measures 53 inches long. It features a round silver buckle and a sleek, minimalist look.
Molr Dental Club Organic Carbon + Coconut Teeth Whitening Powder & Toothbrush ($43.95)
I’m pretty sure I selected this as my “beauty boost choice” in my other box as well. (It was this, or Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse.) As a daily coffee drinker, my teeth could most definitely use a bit of whitening. This all natural powder is made with a blend of activated charcoal (made from raw coconut shell), calcium bentonite clay, and organic mint extract. To use, just wet your toothbrush and dip into the jar to get a small amount of powder on your brush, brush your teeth for 2-3 minutes, then rinse. An extra soft, charcoal bristled toothbrush was also included. I’m looking forward to trying this!
Cottonelle FreshCare Flushable Cleansing Cloths (sponsored item)
After getting these in another subscription box (it may have been FabFitFun?), I’ve been keeping these in the house on a regular basis. While I’m not a fan of their “clean bum” ads, I can’t argue with the fact that these get you a lot cleaner than just toilet paper alone. Real talk. 😉
Autumn FabFitFun boxes always tend to feature a cozy fall-inspired item, and this box was no exception. I absolutely LOVE the soft & snuggly knitted scarf/wrap! Other favorites were the lip crayon, hot/cold pack (minus the text part), whitening powder, and cleansing cloths. The total retail value of the Fall 2017 FabFitFun box was $377-392, depending which options you chose! Crazy! 😀 — Remember — if you’d like to sign up for FabFitFun, you can save $10 on your first box (making your box just $39.99!) with coupon code “HARVEST“!
