Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense.
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy items ranging from snack foods to cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $29.90/month (shipping included), or less with prepaid multi-month plans. It also looks like they ship worldwide. — For a limited time, you can save 20% on your first box! No coupon needed.
Let’s see what’s in the April 2022 Fit Snack box!
The familiar white & turquoise box was shipped via Priority Mail.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos, discounts, and brief descriptions of each item.
These crunchy kettle cooked chips are made using potatoes with “slight imperfections”. By using these less-than-perfect spuds, Uglies have saved over 3.4 million pounds of potatoes from becoming food waste. Very cool! The sea salt flavor is gluten-free, nut-free, certified Kosher, and vegan-friendly.
More Uglies! — These ones are made with the same imperfect potatoes, but are flavored with jalapeño peppers and other spices for a little added zing. Unfortunately (for me), they’re not vegan-friendly (whey), but are still gluten-free, nut-free, non-GMO, and certified Kosher.
“Monster Cookie” granola features a decadent blend of gluten-free oats, dark chocolate chips, almonds, rainbow sprinkles, and more. It’s gluten free, non-GMO, vegan-friendly, and has 16 grams of whole grains per serving. Both of my kids love this stuff, so I’m glad they included two bags. 😉
Moringa is a “superfood” whose leaves contain over 90 nutrients — including 47 antioxidants, 25 vitamins & minerals, and all 9 essential amino acids. The tea above combines moringa with other natural ingredients including peppermint & spearmint leaves, dried peach & apple pieces, and licorice for a zesty alternative to your morning coffee. In fact, it actually contains more caffeine per cup than both coffee and green tea!
Ka-Pop! is a brand I’m just discovering here and am happy to learn that all of their products are always vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and allergen-free. The BBQ flavored “popped chips” above have just 130 calories, 5 grams of fat, and 3 grams of sugar per serving.
These keto-friendly, grain-free nut clusters are made with wholesome ingredients including walnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cinnamon, maple extract, coconut, and pecans. They contain no added sugar and have just 180 calories per serving. They’re also vegan-friendly, non-GMO, and gluten-free.
My April 2022 Fit Snack box included a tasty selection of potato chips, granola, tea, and more. My personal favorites this time were the Uglies Sea Salt Kettle Chips, Bakery on Main Monster Cookie granola, and Bubba’s Maple Cinnamon Praline Keto Nut Mix. — Remember, for a limited time you can save 20% on your first box!
