Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense.
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy items ranging from snack foods to cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. — For a limited time, you can save 30% on your first box! No coupon needed, just click this link.
Let’s see what’s in the May 2019 Fit Snack box!
The familiar white & turquoise box was shipped via Priority Mail.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos, short descriptions, and discount codes for each item.
These oven baked corn crackers are made with just 4 simple ingredients: whole corn flour, salt, slaked lime, and tocopherols (antioxidant). They’re non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan, and don’t contain any artificial flavors or colors, sugars, or trans-fats. Fit Snack included a FULL box of 8 individual 3-cracker packages!
We received a Chocolate Mint flavored version of this drink in last month’s box which I’ve yet to try, but this Blueberry Peach flavor sounds MUCH more appetizing. NOOMA is an organic, simple ingredient sports drink crafted as a healthier alternative to typical sugar-filled sports drinks. It’s certified keto, organic, non-GMO, paleo friendly, gluten free, and vegan. Each carton has just 30 calories and contains zero sugar.
These fruit-flavored gummy supplements are organic, non-GMO, and vegan friendly. They’re designed to help muscle recovery and contain 28 grams of fiber, 10 grams of protein, and just 1 gram of sugar per serving. I’ve had them before and they’re pretty good!
I was excited to see two of these plant-based protein bars in this month’s box (especially since I didn’t receive the one that was sent in last month’s 🙁 ). The vegan-friendly, gluten-free bar is made with pure ingredients like cassava flour, brown rice protein, peanut butter, and cocoa powder & is lightly sweetened with organic cane sugar. It’s soy-free and contains an impressive 12 grams of protein per serving.
Chickpea puffs! — These morsels of puffed goodness are 100% vegan and made with all natural/organic ingredients including chickpea flour, rice flour, sunflower oil, seasonings, and pea hull fiber. All of the flavors are good, but this Vegan White Cheddar one is definitely my favorite. So good!
This is another item I was supposed to receive in last month’s box, but didn’t. It wasn’t listed on the info card this time, so I’m guessing maybe it was left out of everyone’s box in April? Either way, this creamy spread is nice alternative to traditional peanut butter. It’s made with roasted cashews, toasted coconut flakes, chia seeds, demerara sugar, Pink Himalayan Salt, cardamom, and organic stevia leaf extract.
A strong & flavorful herbal tea made with a blend of turmeric powder, cardamom, clove, and black pepper. Vahdam Teas seem to pop up in a LOT of Fit Snack boxes. Personally, I think it would be nice to see a better variety of teas featured just to mix things up.
After finishing this review, I realized that every single item in May’s Fit Snack was vegan-friendly! I don’t think it was intentional, but it was much appreciated. 😀 My favorite items this time around were the Sanissimo Salmas Crackers, Truwomen protein bars, and Hippeas. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 30% on your first box! May 2019 Fit Snack Review
A surprisingly ALL vegan box from Fit Snack this month! 😀 Though I’m a little over the Vadham Teas, I was happy to see two Truwomen protein bars and some delicious Hippeas. 🙂
