November 2017 Fit Snack review time!
If you’re new to them, Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy (yet satisfying) items that have total retail value of at least $30. While most of the items fall into the “snack” category, they also send cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more.
Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. — For a limited time, you can save 50% on your first box! No coupon needed, just click this link.
Let’s see what’s in the November 2017 Fit Snack box!
The familiar white & turquoise box was shipped via Priority Mail.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos, short descriptions, and a few discount codes.
These healthy superfood balls are made with 100% organic & non-GMO ingredients including cranberries, dates, figs, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, apricots, and more. They also contain a nut butter filling, though everything seemed pretty blended up to me. Either way, I liked ’em. 🙂
A low carb, keto-friendly, paleo-friendly bar made with all natural ingredients including organic almond butter, coconut, cacao butter, almonds, flaxseeds, and chia seeds. Each serving contains 11 grams of fiber, 9 grams of protein, and just 4 grams of net carbs.
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a non-edible item in a Fit Snack box, so this was a nice surprise. This eco-friendly toothbrush features a 100% biodegradable, sustainably grown bamboo handle with DuPont nylon 6 BPA-free bristles. For every purchase of a Humble Brush, an equivalent donation is made to the Humble Smile Foundation which supports oral care projects around the world.
An old fashioned beef jerky that’s been produced in Los Angeles since 1929. Each serving contains 16 grams of protein and zero sugar or carbs.
This is the second one of these cookies I’ve gotten this month and I was more than happy to see it. Not only is it non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan-friendly, but it also contains an impressive 18 grams of protein. 😀
A big bag of roasted fava beans flavored with sea salt and vinegar. These are gluten-free, vegan friendly and a good source of both protein & fiber. As you can see by the note on the package, Fit Snack included this as a bonus item.
Made with noni — a Hawaiian immune-boosting superfood — these organic juice shots help support Hawaii’s environment & economy by empowering local farmers producing organic, responsibly grown crops. Two varieties were included: Immunity (noni & fruit juices with no added sugar) and Energy (yerba mate and green tea).
A savory granola made with gluten-free ingredients including sliced almonds, pepitas, gluten-free oats, parmesan cheese, flax seeds, and dry mustard. Sprinkle it on soups, salads, or even in a sandwich for an extra burst of flavor & crunch.
Cold-pressed, organic virgin coconut oil in convenient single-serve packets. Great for cooking, baking, and skincare. (We actually just used coconut oil to help with pink eye!)
A doctor developed supplement drink made with all natural ingredients. It contains no artificial flavors, sweeteners, or colors and has just 45 calories per can.
Add one of these little sachets to your favorite smoothie for an added boost of powerful superfoods. They contain a healthy blend of organic freeze dried acai, noni fruit, mangosteen, maca root, spirulina, and other vegan-friendly ingredients. These were also sent in last month’s box, but I used them all up and didn’t mind getting more. 🙂
Once again, a nice assortment of snacks & supplements from Fit Snack. I liked that they also included a useful, non-edible item this month. My favorite items were the Figgy Pops, Munk Pack cookie, and Humble Brush. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 50% on your first box! No coupon needed, just click this link.
