Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense.
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy items ranging from snack foods to cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. — For a limited time, you can save 30% on your first box! No coupon needed, just click this link.
Let’s see what’s in the October 2019 Fit Snack box!
The familiar white & turquoise box was shipped via Priority Mail.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos and brief descriptions of each item.
These baked snack puffs are made with all natural ingredients and have 30% less fat than traditional potato chips. They’re also gluten-free, peanut-free, non-GMO, and have just 100 calories per serving/bag.
More puffs! Like the ones above, these are also made with all natural ingredients and have just 100 calories per serving/bag. Instead of the spiciness of sriracha, these have a sweet cinnamon apple pie flavor — perfect for autumn.
These small batch, dry roasted pumpkin seeds are seasoned with organic sugar, maple sugar, vanilla extract, and unrefined sea salt. Not only are they vegan-friendly (yay!), but also non-GMO, gluten-free, and tree nut-free.
This birthday cake flavored cookie is loaded with not only sprinkles & frosting — but also 20 grams of protein. It’s gluten free, trans-fat free, and has only 7 grams of sugar per cookie.
Like the cookie above, this one is also packed with 20 grams of protein and has just 7 grams of sugar. It’s a mash-up of both a chocolate chip cookie and a snickerdoodle and is drizzled in white chocolate frosting and sprinkled with cinnamon graham pieces.
AKA Snacks Salty Sweet Palmonds
This sweet & crunchy snack consists of just 4 ingredients: dehydrated sprouted almonds, coconut aminos, coconut palm blossom nectar, and organic spices. It’s vegan-friendly, gluten-free, and high in protein.
Fit Snack first featured these bars a few months ago, but in different flavors. Both of the bars above contain a blend of whole grain oats, peanuts, organic honey, coconut, and other natural ingredients. They’re also dairy-free, non-GMO, and gluten free.
Wicked Cutz Smoked Mesquite Beef Stick
This gluten-free beef stick is made with all natural ingredients and includes no added MSG, nitrates, or nitrites. It has 15 grams of protein and 140 calories per serving.
I’m always happy to see these vegan-friendly protein powder packets. I drink a smoothie every day and these make a great addition. They’re gluten-free, non-GMO, and have an impressive 20 grams of plant-based protein per serving.
The info card noted that subscribers were to receive a surprise bonus snack this month. Honestly, as much as I enjoy a good bonus item, I could have done without MORE Vadham tea. I’m just plain tired of seeing it at this point. Plus, I don’t like black tea, so it’s a double whammy. Whomp-whoooomp.
Aside from that disappointing bonus item, October’s Fit Snack box included a nice assortment of salty snacks and sweet treats. My favorite items this time were the IncrediPuffs, SuperSeedz, Bob’s Red Mill bars, and Purely Inspired Protein Powder. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 30% on your first box!
