Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense.
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy items ranging from snack foods to cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. — For a limited time, you can save 30% on your first box! No coupon needed, just click this link.
Let’s see what’s in the September 2020 Fit Snack box!
The familiar white & turquoise box was shipped via Priority Mail.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos, discounts, and brief descriptions of each item.
Lesser Evil Grain Free Himalayan Pink Paleo Puffs
These crunchy, grain-free puffs are made with organic ingredients including cassava flour, coconut oil, tapioca starch, coconut flour, sweet potato flour, and Himalayan salt. They’re non-GMO verified, certified Paleo, vegan-friendly, and gluten free.
SuperSeedz Sea Salt Gourmet Pumpkin Seeds
These small batch, dry roasted shelled pumpkin seeds are lightly seasoned with unrefined sea salt. Not only are they vegan-friendly (yay!), but also non-GMO, gluten-free, and nut-free. Each 1-ounce serving contains 8 grams of complete plant-based protein.
BeBOLD Almond Butter Energy Bar
These bars were a new discovery and I was excited to try them… In fact, I ate one of them shortly after taking these photos. (Spoiler: It was delicious!) While I was happy to see that the bars have 18 grams of whole grains and 5 grams of fiber, I was a little bummed to find that each one also has 13 grams of sugar (a bit higher than I’d like for an energy bar). That said, I’ll happily eat the second one. 😉
Top Seedz Sea Salt Crackers
These all natural, vegan-friendly crackers are made with a crunchy mix of sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, flaxseeds, cornstarch, olive oil, and salt. They’re gluten-free and processed in a nut-free facility. I haven’t tried them yet, but I’m hoping I like ’em cos they’re made right in my hometown. 🙂
Prince of Peace Original Ginger Chews
Yum! — I’ve been a fan of these chewy ginger candies for a while now and am always happy to see them pop up in subscription boxes. They’re made with real ginger and have a satisfyingly spicy kick. They’re also gluten-free and vegan-friendly.
Uplift Gut Happy Cookies
Two flavors of these prebiotic sandwich cookies were included in September’s box — Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate & Coconut and Salted Almond Butter with Vanilla & Hemp. I tried the peanut butter ones, which would have tasted a lot better if it wasn’t for the strong monk fruit flavor. However, I did appreciate the fact that each package has 13 grams of fiber and 8-9 grams of protein.
Ultima Replenisher Electrolyte Supplement
These fruit-flavored drink packets contain a perfect balance of all 6 electrolytes, along with support minerals that work together to provide complete hydration so you can feel and perform your best. They’re both keto & paleo friendly, vegan, gluten free, and non-GMO. The package contained 6 individual packets/servings.
Craize Sweet Corn Toasted Corn Crackers
Fit Snack has featured these corn crisps in just about every flavor available. This sweet corn variety is actually my favorite one, so I was happy to see it in the box. These super thin & crispy crackers are made with non-GMO ingredients and are gluten-free, kosher, and vegan friendly.
September’s Fit Snack box featured a nice mix of new discoveries and a few old stand-by’s. My personal favorites this month were the BeBOLD Energy Bars, Prince of Peace Ginger Chews, Lesser Evil Paleo Puffs, and Craize Corn Chips. — Remember, for a limited time you can save 30% on your first box!
