July 2017 Glossybox review time!
If you’re not aware, Glossybox is a monthly beauty subscription box that sends 5-6 deluxe sized samples packed inside a super sturdy, reusable box. The packaging is top notch and only the highest quality brands are included. Like many of the other beauty subscriptions, you’ll fill out a personal beauty profile when you sign up so that they can send products that best suit your lifestyle, skin type, etc. They also have a great rewards system where you can earn points for reviewing the products you receive in your box. Once you’ve accumulated 1,000 points, you’ll earn a free month.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $21/month and shipping is free. — For a limited time, you can get your first 3 boxes for just $10 each with coupon code “TROPICAL”!
Let’s see what’s in my July 2017 Glossybox!
July’s box featured a pretty tropical design! Subscribers were able to choose from 4 different color schemes.
A peek inside.
The info sheet was more of a poster that unfolded to reveal the contents of July’s box — along with descriptions, retail prices, and tips for each item. It also included variant items that some subscribers received instead of the ones that were in my particular box. (Each month usually includes slight variations in products between boxes.)
NCLA Clean Up Your Act Nail Lacquer Remover Pen ($16)
I always manage to get polish around my nails when I paint them and end up either wiping it off with my finger or scraping it off once it dries. This handy little nail lacquer remover pen will make cleaning up stray polish a lot easier by simply rubbing the saturated pen tip over the area to remove the unwanted polish. Easy! It even comes with 3 replacement tips too. 🙂
Dr. PawPaw Original Multipurpose Soothing Balm ($10)
This multipurpose balm can be used to moisturize dry/irritated hands, elbows, heels, lips, nails and cuticles. It can also help relieve minor abrasions & insect bites, and even tame fly-aways & smooth brows.
Aerin Beach Cream ($45)
A conditioning “beach cream” that can be used to add moisture to both your body and your hair. Its formula leaves a subtle shimmer on the skin as it hydrates for a hint of bronze. It also has a relaxing floral scent that will linger when used as a deep conditioner for your hair.
Doucce x Glossybox Blush Duo Palette ($24)
Whoops! As you can see, my blush palette didn’t fare too well on its way to me. I suppose it could be saved, but to be honest I probably wouldn’t have used it anyway. 😉 That aside, this was a collaboration with Doucce and featured the shade “Summer Sunset”. Subscribers were able to complete the duo with a complementary shade by logging into their account and selecting the one they liked best — which would then be sent with next month’s box. Neat!
La Roche-Posay Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser (~$.50)
A foaming cream facial cleanser that effectively purifies and removes makeup without drying out the skin. It’s formulated with glycerin to moisturize and is safe for normal to oily skin types.
Luseta Coconut Milk Shampoo & Conditioner (~$4)
Ooh! I LOVE the scent of this shampoo & conditioner duo. In keeping with the theme of this month’s box, both have a great tropical scent thanks to the inclusion of coconut milk & oil. These will be perfect for taking on our upcoming family trip.
I really enjoyed the fun tropical theme of this month’s Glossybox! My favorite items were the NCLA Clean Up Your Act polish remover and Luseta shampoo & conditioner set. As always, the total retail value was great at just around $100! 😀 — Remember, for a limited time, you can get your first 3 boxes for just $10 each with coupon code “TROPICAL”!
