I had the opportunity to review Herbal Bliss back in October when they first launched their box. I was impressed with their debut offering, so I was excited when December’s box unexpectedly showed up in my mailbox. Yay for surprises!
Herbal Bliss is a newer subscription box that features an assortment of all natural, herb-based products. Each box contains 5 samples in the following categories: Aromatherapy, Blissful Body, Culinary, Well Being, and a Spotlight product.
Many of the products included in the Herbal Bliss box are handcrafted in small batches, often by family-owned businesses. This ensures the highest quality, most carefully crafted products on the market. Monthly subscriptions are $25/box, but can go as low as $18/box with multi-month plans.
What was in December’s box? Let’s see!
Their box is so colorful!
First look. I love when I have no idea what’s inside.
Second look. I spy a candle peeking out of the top left corner! Off to a good start…
Individual info cards were provided for each item and tucked inside of a small sealed envelope. You can tell that a lot of work goes into these boxes.
Soy Delites Holiday Spice Travel Tin Candle ($7.99) – You know how much I love getting candles in subscription boxes! Especially holiday-inspired ones. Soy Delites Candles are hand poured in Austin and made with 100% soy wax & cotton wicks. The scent is very cinnamon-y and definitely evokes the feeling of the holidays. Mmm.
Pelindaba Organic Culinary Lavender ($7.50) – I’ve never baked with lavender, but apparently it can be used as a substitute for rosemary in many recipes. I’m a big fan of rosemary, so if it tastes anywhere near what that tastes like, I’m in! This is picked from the very first harvest of the summer for optimal flavor.
Truly Aesthetic Petite Bath Affirmations ($15.00) – Woah — I have never seen such a fancy looking tube of bath salts! It has its own entourage and everything. The salts are made with therapeutic grade essential oils, flowers, herbs, and other good stuff. They come with a positive affirmation scroll to set the mood of your bath, a muslin tea bag if you choose to put the salts inside for a soak, and a scroll with directions (?!). Now that’s how you have a proper bath.
Eclipse Herbals Healing Oil Cleanser ($5.99) – This is a blend of natural oils including hazelnut, rosemary, thyme, and lemon that’s supposed to help cleanse your skin. While it seems weird to clean your face with oils, this actually works as an antiseptic to cleanse, calm, and moisturize. I suppose it’s worth a shot?
Wild Hibiscus Flower Co Blue-Tee ($0.30) – Caffeine-free tea made from 100% pure butterfly pea flower. It’s high in antioxidants and has a pretty blue color — add lemon and it turns purple.
What a great box from Herbal Bliss! So many unique products and a total retail value of roughly $37. The candle and fancy bath salts are definitely my favorites, but I’ll probably get use out of everything else at some point too.

I like this box a lot. I hope to see more reviews of this box in the future. I haven’t subscribe to any boxes for the past few months or so. I’m considering getting this box.
