Kidbox is a quarterly subscription box that sends you brand name kid’s clothing items at a fraction of the retail price.
Each box will consist of 6 to 7 seasonal clothing items, all based on your child’s individual style profile. Brands can include Puma, Jessica Simpson, Splendid, Diesel, Limited Too, Roxy, 7 for all Mankind, Reebok, Lucky Brand, and more. They currently carry sizes 0-24 months for infants/babies, 2T-14 for girls, and 2T-16 for boys.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Once you receive your box, you’ll choose which of the items you’d like to keep. If you decide to keep the whole box you’ll pay just $98 total ($68 for babies). Otherwise, you can send back your unwanted items for exchange/return at no cost to you and pay only for the items you choose. All items are offered at prices below retail, so no matter how many pieces you choose to keep, you’ll be getting a great deal. Also, there is NO styling fee for your boxes – you don’t pay anything until your 7-day home try-on period is up!
Kidbox’s ultimate goal is to empower children to give. For every full box you keep, Kidbox donates a new outfit to a child in a needy family. Win/win!

Let’s see what’s in my Winter 2018 Kidbox!
Everything was shipped in a large brown box with a white Kidbox logo on the side.
The items were divided into two sections and wrapped in pretty tissue paper.
A resealable zip pouch contained the packing slip, a small box of crayons, and a sheet of stickers.
Alphabet sticker sheet and mini box of crayons. — Fun little extras for your kiddo. 🙂
A detailed list of all our items was provided, along with photos, retail prices and Kidbox prices for each one. The total retail cost of my whole box would have been $248.00, but I could purchase everything for just $98! — That’s just $14 each for 7 items.
If you choose to exchange or return some of the items, a large mailing bag and prepaid postage sticker are also provided. (Size exchanges are free!)
Kidbox also included the latest copy of their in-house publication — “The Scribble”. It featured a look at trendy styles for winter, ways for kids to give back, DIY gifts, recipes, and more.
In the spirit of giving, Kidbox even included a few sheets of custom wrapping paper to encourage you to wrap a gift for someone in need this coming holiday season. 🙂
Onto the clothes!
Masala Baby Girls Metallic Star Dress ($62 Retail/$31 Kidbox)
Both of my girls LOVE dresses, so I knew this pretty piece from Masala Baby would be an instant hit. It features a solid black body with a flow-y sheer skirt and a shiny gold star made of sequins. It also has adjustable straps to ensure a comfortable fit.
Last month’s box was for Chloe, so now it was Everly’s turn to “model” the new pieces. 🙂 She absolutely adored this dress and didn’t want to take it off. She also discovered that it’s the perfect dress for twirling. The fit was spot-on too!
Masala Baby Girls Star Cardigan ($48.00 Retail/$24.00 Kidbox)
To go along with the dress, Kidbox also included a matching Masala Baby cardigan. This was a much appreciated inclusion, since it will allow Everly to wear the dress without having to wait until the warmer months. Like the dress, it’s solid black in color with shiny gold star accents. It has buttons down the front with a cute ruffled collar and cuffs.
The ruffled collar gives it softer, feminine vibes despite it being solid black in color.
Such a sweet little outfit!
Miki B Girls Cheetah Print Boatneck ($28 Retail, $21 Kidbox)
Chloe also received this shirt in her box, so we already knew it was a keeper. We don’t normally gravitate towards animal prints, but the boatneck detail is cute and it fits nicely on both girls.
Clearly a winner!
And just for fun, here’s both girls in their matching shirts. 😉
Andy+Evan Girls Crushed Velvet Legging ($38.00 Retail/$28.00 Kidbox)
Our last box featured a pink crushed velvet skirt, and this time we received purple crushed velvet leggings. Everly loved how soft they were and couldn’t wait to try them on.
They fit nicely, though they seemed a bit shorter than I’d like. Both of my daughters are very tall and thin, so pants/leggings can be a little tricky. Fingers crossed that they don’t get shorter once I’ve washed them!
French Toast Girls Camo Print Twill Jacket ($28.00 Retail/$21.00 Kidbox)
When I filled out the style survey, I probably should have requested no camo. (Oops!) I’ve actually never given camo much of a thought until it arrived and I realized that my girls would probably not be very into it. The jacket itself is adorable and nicely made… it’s just not our (their) style.
At first, she was very reluctant to even try it on and wouldn’t look at the camera. She insisted it was “boy clothes”.
There was a brief break in the resistance, but it didn’t last long…
I couldn’t help but laugh at the faces she made as she happily removed the jacket for good. (To be honest, I was kind of bummed that she didn’t like it because it kind of grew on me once it was on. Ah well.)
DKNY Girls Sequin Jogger ($28.00 Retail/$21.00 Kidbox)
Sequins are having a bit of a moment, so I wasn’t surprised to see these cozy gray jogging pants accented with silver sequins along the sides.
Extreme Concepts Girls Minnie Mouse Paint Splatter Tee ($16.00 Retail/$13.00 Kidbox)
Unlike 99.999% of the population, we’re not much of a Disney family. (I supposed that’s something else I should have noted in the style profile!) That said, we do have another little girl in our family who would be more than happy to wear this Minnie Mouse tee.
Like the purple velvet leggings, these joggers seemed to be a little shorter than we needed. Not horribly so, but enough that I’m nervous to wash them. The tee was a good fit, but we’ll still be passing it along to an actual fan of Disney. 🙂
Although a few of the items weren’t quite her style, my daughter still enjoyed discovering all of the pieces in her Kidbox shipment. In the future, I would definitely make more of an effort to point out specific dislikes (camo, Disney) to ensure my kiddo would get more items that she loved. Her favorites from this box were the Masala Baby dress & cardigan (my fave too!), Miki B cheetah print boatneck, and Andy+Evan purple velvet leggings. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can get $10 OFF a full purchase of your first Kidbox with coupon code “ROSEBUDS“!
