After a couple months getting the “deluxe” Love With Food box, I decided to switch back to the regular, smaller one. We’ve got SO many snacks piled up from boxes, that we’re running out of cupboard space. Total snack overload up in here.
November’s theme is “Flavors of Fall” and features items chosen by Chef Ryan Scott. As always, with every box purchased, Love With Food donates a meal to someone in need. Love that.
Alright, let’s see what’s inside…
Signature Love With Food box… box.
Sensible Foods Crunch Dried Sweet Corn – This is made with only two ingredients: sweet corn and salt. One pouch is equivalent to a half cup of fresh veggies. Neat.
Green & Black’s Chocolate – I love the cute little pouch that these chocolates came in. I’m a sucker for little “extras” like that. Included were 2 miniature dark chocolate bars made with organic ingredients. I always thought they were vegan, so I was totally bummed to see the last ingredient was milk powder. 🙁
Sweet Potato Popchips – I keep getting Popchips in boxes, but I’ve yet to try ’em. These ones are made with real sweet potatoes. Mmm.
Laura Secord’s Maple Fudge – A Canadian treat made with pure maple syrup. My mom’s a huge fan of anything maple, so this will be going to her. (You’re welcome momma.)
Dancing Deer Baking Co. Cookies – Shortbread cookies made with rosemary and pink sea salt.
Mighty Leaf Artisan Tea – I love whole leaf tea! This flavor is Ginger Twist, which is a blend of lemongrass, ginger, fruits, and other all-natural ingredients.
Kukuruza “Tuxedo” Popcorn – Gourmet popcorn covered with drizzles of milk and white chocolate. I’m pretty sure this brand was featured in a previous Love With Food box. I’m thinking it was Hawaiian caramel sea salt flavor. Either way, none of ’em are vegan-friendly. Wahhh.
Eat Natural Fruit & Nut Bar – An all-natural energy bar made with apricots & almonds, and dipped in yogurt. Gluten-free.
Arora Creations Indian Spice Blend – I’m wondering if this spice mix would be good with something other than the suggested asparagus, okra, and string beans… I sorta hate all of them. haha
So that’s November’s Love With Food box. Honestly, I’m not too impressed. Last month’s box was awesome though, so I guess maybe I had higher expectations for this one. Plus, there weren’t many vegan-friendly snacks this time around. Ah well. I’m definitely glad that I switched from the deluxe version. Though, with my luck, next month’s box will be chock full o’ vegan goodness and I’ll be wishing I ordered the larger one. #subscriptionboxproblems
