Let’s see what’s in the January 2017 Mommy Mailbox box!
Everything was shipped in a white box with the Mommy mailbox logo on top.
A peek inside!
January’s box theme was “Entertain” and it was curated by blogger Angelica Castaneda.
An info card listed all of the items in the box, along with brief descriptions for each one.
Sugar Dunk MiniDunk Body Scrub Sampler ($25)
A cute little sampler set of 4 mini body scrubs from Sugar Dunk. The scrubs are all natural & vegan-friendly and the following scents were included: Pretty N’ Pink (mint grapefruit), Morning Glory (orange vanilla), Moon Salt (lemon lavender), and Mud Pie (cinnamon coffee). I love that they sent a sampling of different scents as opposed to a single full-size one. 🙂
Henlie Statement Necklace
I wasn’t able to find any information about this necklace online, so I’m unsure of the value. That said, it’s a versatile gold statement necklace with large clear gems. Not really my personal style, but pretty nonetheless.
Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques Luminous Face Highlighter ($11)
This neutral highlighter (in “Glow”) contains 100% natural vitamins, minerals, and pigments blended into a 97.5% certified organic botanical base. Ingredients include argan oil, rosehip, silica, neem, and jojoba oil.
Sailor Paper Company Coaster Set
I don’t know if Sailer Paper Company is brand new or what, but I couldn’t find any mention of them (or an actual site) online. Weird. This coaster set is super cute though, so I’ll forgive them for their absence on the web. 😉
Rabbit Creek Gourmet Caramel Apple Cheeseball Mix ($4.10)
I’ve never thought that a cheeseball sounded remotely appetizing until seeing this mix. I’m guessing that’s due to the fact that it calls for cream cheese and is more of a dessert-y spread/dip. The mix itself consists of sugar, dried apples, and natural flavoring. Simply blend it with an 8 oz package of cream cheese, form into a ball, and refrigerate. Once set, you can serve alongside graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or fresh fruit. Yum!
Another month of fun, pamper-y items from Mommy Mailbox! My favorite items this time were the sugar scrub sampler and pretty paper coasters. I’m not sure of the total retail value of January’s box since I wasn’t able to locate some of the products online, but I calculated it to be $40 without including the necklace or coaster set. Nice! — Remember, you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “ROSE5“!
