Let’s see what’s in the November 2018 My Paper Box (Grand Subscription) box!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box with a personalized, autumn-themed sticker on top.
A peek inside!
An enclosed card let subscribers know that November’s box was Thanksgiving “Hoilday” themed. (For a stationery subscription, I’m surprised that such an obvious typo got through!)
Okay, onto the items!
I don’t personally host Thanksgiving dinner, so I don’t have to do much planning in advance — but for those who do this planner would certainly come in handy. It’s absolutely packed with everything you need to assure the holiday goes smoothly. — There’s a guest list, shopping list, cooking schedule, daily tasks to complete before the big day, conversation starters, and more.
A personalized, stand-up calendar included a festive pumpkin/leaf design with November’s calendar on one side, with an inspiration quote on the other. The quote is a great reminder to be thankful for what you have, instead of worrying about what you don’t.
Two personalized recipe cards were included, which also followed the pumpkin/leaves theme. I honestly don’t know if I would actually use them, but they’re a cute addition to a Thanksgiving themed box.
Table Placement Cards
Six festive table placement cards were printed with the phrase “Welcome to Wendy’s Thanksgiving. We’re thankful for __________”. I’m assuming the guest’s name was to be written in the blank space. Cute!
Sweet Potato Greeting Card
Two personalized greeting cards were included in November’s box. The first featured a fun rhyming verse that read “Sweet potato, sweet potato, pumpkin pie… Touch my dessert plate, get a fork in your eye”. Ha! The inside was printed with “Love, Wendy” near the bottom with plenty of space to write my own message.
Thanksgiving Thighs Greeting Card
The second greeting card sent the recipient good wishes on their holiday feast, with the hopes that Thanksgiving dinner “stays off their thighs”. Clearly a card you’d want to send to your most good-natured of relatives/friends. 😉 Once again, the inside was personalized with “Love, Wendy” and the envelope included my return address.
The final item was a personalized notepad with “Things I’m thankful for” printed on top with a little pumpkin, and my name at the bottom. I can never have too many notepads!
Although I don’t do much planning for my Thanksgiving dinner, I nevertheless enjoyed the fun personalized items in November’s My Paper Box. My favorites were the stand-up calendar, “Sweet Potato” greeting card, and Thankful notepad. The planner was also a great addition and would be very useful for anyone who hosts their own holiday dinner. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time, you can save $10 on your first Grand Subscription with coupon code “IWANTPAPER“!
