August 2018 My Zodiac Box review time!
If you haven’t heard, My Zodiac Box is a new monthly subscription box that’s personalized just for you based on your astrological sign and other preferences. Each box will include 4-6 items chosen especially for your particular sign and the results of a survey you’ll take upon signing up. Henlie Leo Sterling Silver Sunstone Necklace
This pretty necklace from Henlie features a genuine sunstone strung on a sterling silver chain. While I probably wouldn’t have purchased a similar piece on my own, it’s really starting to grow on me. Its 22-inch chain is a nice length and it looked great when I tried it on with my solid black dress (my typical “outfit” 95% of the time 😉 ).
Agate Slice
Every August box included an agate slice in your sign’s color. I received orange for Leo. According the the little card included, agate is great for achieving stability and balance in life. It’s also able to improve mental functions and can help where issues of clarity and stability are concerned.
Onyx Marble Mortar and Pestle
Subscribers received one randomly selected piece of home decor made of onyx marble. The info sheet showed what looked to be a trinket box, decorative pillar, small vase, and this mortar & pestle set. It’s a very nicely crafted piece, but sadly there was a chip at the top of my pestle. I did find a piece of marble in the box, so it happened while en route. Ah well.
Ocean Elemental Element: Fire Bath Bomb
Yay for bath bombs! This one is scented with a “sensual fragrance blend to light up your life with romance”. According to their website, that scent is citrus and berries. Mmm!
Campo del Cielo Meteorite
How cool is this?! In my hand above are 3 tiny pieces of the Campo del Cielo iron meteorite that fell over 4,000 years ago near Buenos Aires, Argentina. Meteorite is said to assist with inner vision, spiritual awakening, and access to other worlds. It can also promote patience, emotional balance, and persistence.
