Nadine West is a clothing subscription service providing customers with personalized items to try on from the comfort of their home.
Each monthly shipment — chosen by your own personal stylist — will include 4 to 6 items, typically consisting of tops (shirts, blouses, cardigans), a bottom (shorts, leggings, skirts), a dress and a couple pieces of jewelry or other accessories. They may also include seasonal items, like sunglasses in the summer or a scarf or beanie in the winter.
Disclosure: Package was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Upon signing up, you’ll fill out a style profile indicating your clothing size(s), jewelry preference, colors you’d like to avoid, areas you’d prefer to conceal (tummy, thighs, etc.), and more. This can be changed/updated at any time.
After you receive your package, you can try the items on in the comfort of your home, and see how easily they fit into your existing wardrobe. Return what you didn’t love by the specified date on your packing slip by using the same envelope, return postage label and the sticky tape included. There are no fees or no hidden costs. You simply pay only for the items you keep.
There is no monthly cost for the subscription, but rather a $9.78 shipping charge. If you choose to keep any of your items, that charge is credited to your purchase (making shipping free!). — For a limited time, you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) with coupon code “NADINE” or save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
Let’s see what’s in my June 2022 Nadine West package!
Everything was shipped in a bright pink poly mailer bag — which is the same bag you’ll use to return any items you choose not to purchase.
All of the pieces were folded into two separate bundles and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
A packing slip listed each of the items, along with their discounted prices. Since my package was sent for review, the actual prices weren’t listed — however most pieces sell for between $10-$30 each.
I received 3 tops, 1 bottom (pants/leggings), 1 dress, and 1 necklace.
The screenshot above shows how I described my personal style in the Style Profile. Let’s see how they did this time!
Mel Top in Mauve
This modern take on a ringer-style tee was given a bit of extra flair with the ruching detail along its sides. The solid mauve/light pink color contrasts nicely with the white accents on both the collar and sleeves. I’m personally not a fan of this style, but I’ve seen similar shirts/dresses when shopping with my kiddos so I know it’s definitely trending at the moment.
Gracie Top in Black
As soon as I tried on this cardigan — with its short-ish sleeves and extra fabric between my arm and body, I immediately felt like I resembled a bat. After a bit of Googling, I was shocked to find out that this style is actually known as a “batwing” cardigan (arm/wing detail shown clearer on Amazon image above). Is this a commonly known thing?! Regardless, I have mixed feelings on this piece. I like that it’s different than your typical cardigan, but it also kind of feels like a costume.
Olivia Eyelet Top in Olive
Note: Although it looks a bit gray in the photos above, this top looks much greener in person. It features a cut-out detail at the neckline, as well as black lace-up panels along both sides. As someone who tends to believe that “less is more” when it comes to details on clothing, I can’t say this is something I would ever wear.
Amara Dress in Khaki
I didn’t mind the style of this dress, but it just didn’t do much for me once I tried it on. The puff sleeves were a cute feature, but the wrap style never seems to work for me. However, it was still nice to try a dress with an actual zipper instead of the usual pullover styles that I receive.
Camille Jegging in Black
Although these jeggings were listed as black, I’d say they’re more of a dark wash denim shade. They feature contrasting stitching along the seams, as well as gold and white embroidered designs on the back pockets. I could have done without the pocket designs, but they can be easily hidden with a long shirt or tunic.
Shara Necklace in Silver
Welp, as you can see I didn’t receive the “Shara Necklace in Silver” that was listed on my packing slip. Instead, I was sent a pair of hoop-style earrings that feature a sparkly geometric design. I no longer have pierced ears, so this will be passed along to someone who does.
Once I decide which items to keep, I can simply place the unwanted pieces back into the original shipping bag and send them back using the pre-paid return label above. So easy!
My June 2022 Nadine West shipment wasn’t exactly a home run, but they can’t always get it right. Thankfully, they make it easy to send back anything that doesn’t work with no cost to you. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can try your first package for FREE (no shipping charge!) with coupon code “NADINE” or save $25 when you keep every item in your package and get FREE shipping with coupon code “ROSEBUDS25“!
