Nomadik is a monthly subscription box designed especially for camping & outdoor enthusiasts.
Each box will consist of 3-6 pieces of gear that have been tested on trips and given the seal of approval by the Nomadik adventurers. Every month will feature a new theme to help you collect gear for specific purposes. Items can include portable power, dry bags, knives, multi-tools, drinkware, hydration mixes, trail snacks, and more.

Let’s see what’s in the October 2017 Nomadik box!
Everything was shipped in a brown box with the Nomadik logo on top.
A peek inside!
An info card revealed October’s theme — “Camp Cleanliness” — and listed all of the items I’d find inside, along with descriptions & retail values for each one.
Two additional inserts were included: A contest announcement that encouraged you to get dirty, and a recipe for a camp-friendly skillet pizza.
PackTowl Antimicrobial Luxe Body Towel ($29.95)
This incredibly soft pack towel has the ability to absorb 5 times its weight in water, yet dries 30% faster than standard cotton towels. It’s made of a looped antimicrobial terry knit fabric that wrings out easily and stays fresher (non-smelly) longer. It also comes with a handy zippered storage pouch to stow it away when not in use. Oh, and it’s a nice size too — 25″ x 54″ large.
Purinize Water Purifier Drops ($15.95)
A mineral-based, 100% natural water purifier that’s free of iodine, chlorine dioxide & other harsh chemicals. This little 2-ounce bottle has the ability to purify up to 15 gallons of water without any unpleasant iodine or chlorine aftertaste. The formula effectively eliminates or reduces over 200 contaminants including bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, pesticides, and more. Even if you’re not into camping (like me!), this is still nice to have on hand for any storm-related water emergencies.
Gear Aid MiraZyme Odor Eliminator ($6.25)
An all natural, 100% biodegradable odor eliminator that effectively removes offending odors from a variety of surfaces. Use it on camping gear, boots, shoes, jerseys, sports equipment, and more. I skimmed through the reviews on Amazon and users successfully removed odors from life jackets, tents, backpacks, blankets, and even a bulletproof vest. Definitely a useful product to have on hand!
Although I’m not much of an outdoorsy person, I was nevertheless impressed with my introduction to Nomadik. All of the items included in October’s box would be nice to have on an adventure, yet could also come in handy at home. The total retail value of this month’s collection was just over $52!
