Let’s see what’s in the September 2016 Peaches & Petals box!
Everything was shipped in a plain white box with a Peaches & Petals sticker in the middle.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the items in the box, along with a short description of each one. The theme for September’s box was “Cuteness Overload”.
Cat Coin Purse – As soon as I saw this (slightly terrifying) cat face peeking out of the box, I knew my kitty-obsessed daughter would be all over it. It’s actually a very nicely made coin purse, complete with a soft plush backing and pretty floral lining. Cute!
Totes Adorbs Tote Bag – A (very) lightweight black tote with the phrase “totes adorbs” printed inside a metallic gold thought bubble. It’s definitely not the sturdiest bag ever, but it would be suitable for a change of clothes or similarly light items.
Unicorn Pillow Cover – I think this pillow cover is probably more suitable for tweens/teens than 30-somethings, but it’s cute nonetheless. It has a zipper opening on the bottom, making it easy to fit over your throw pillow of choice.
Mermaid Socks – These socks were the spoiler item for September’s box and they’re just as neat/ridiculous in person. 😉 Unlike typical socks, these are quite thin and actually feel/fit more like tights than socks.
“Cute Surprise” – The info card lists the last item as a cute surprise that could vary from box to box. I received a Blue Avocado Eco Wrap Wrap — a reusable fold-up sandwich wrap. Not exactly something I’d call “cute”, but not a bad inclusion.
Spoiler alert! — October’s box theme will be “Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice”. Sounds very promising!
I definitely enjoyed September’s Peaches & Petals box more than last month’s mediocre offering. The theme was good and they did a nice job sticking to it (well, except for the wrap thing).
