POPSUGAR Must Have Box January 2015 Review & Coupon Code

It’s here! It’s here! I’ve been (not so) patiently waiting for my January POPSUGAR Must Have box to arrive since seeing the spoilers a couple weeks ago. I needed to get that pom-pom hat in my hands! (Er, on my head?)

POPSUGAR Must Have is a monthly lifestyle subscription box that’s curated with a fun variety of “on trend” products curated by the POPSUGAR team. Items can range from food, beauty, household, fashion, fitness gear and everything in between. Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, everything in this box is full sized. No foil packets in this bad boy.

Monthly boxes are $39.95 and there’s almost always a discount code available (I’ve included one at the end of this post!).

Once again, I had already seen (and posted) all of the spoilers, so I knew exactly what would be in the box. Still, it’s just not the same until you get the goodies in your hands. So without further adieu…

Let’s see what’s in the box!

The box was so heavy! That would have made things more exciting if I didn’t already know what was inside, but whatever… Heavy is always good regardless.

Yep, the spoilers were 100% accurate!

Jack + Lucy Pom Pom Hat ($32) – Love this! While I don’t mind getting scarves in boxes, I’d much rather have a hat. Especially one with a fun faux fur pom pom. This is definitely my style and probably my favorite item in the box.

KeepCup Brew 12 oz Reusable Coffee Cup ($26) – This glass cup serves as a great alternative to paper or styrofoam disposable versions. The pink band around the glass protects your hands from the hot liquids inside. Plus, it’s short enough to fit under most coffee machines.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream ($28) – I’ve got plenty of hand/body creams saved up thanks to subscription boxes… I’m actually still using the K Hall Simpatico cream from November’s POPSUGAR box. I only use hand cream at night (I hate how it feels on my hands during the day), so one tube/jar lasts me a long time. That said, I’m definitely looking forward to trying this one. My dry winter hands could totally use some “intense therapy”.

Manduka eQua Hand Towel ($16) – Although this towel is supposed to be used during yoga, since I don’t exactly “work out” I think I’ll be using this as a regular ol’ hand towel. Is that allowed? I can’t be the only (lazy) one who plans to do that, right? I hope not, anyway!

ToGoSpa Eyes Collagen Gel Pads ($12.50) – These eye treatments are supposed to “soothe, moisturize and de-puff tired eyes”. I’ve never used anything like these before, but I’m willing to give ’em a try. The set contains 3 treatments.

Nature Valley Protein Granola ($3.49) – I thought for sure this wouldn’t be vegan, but it is! Yessss! I love granola in pretty much any flavor, so I’m super excited to try this peanut butter chocolate version. Mmmm! Plus, it’s got tons of protein too.

Skin Jewel Tattoos ($18) – This is probably the only item I’m not too excited about. I guess these are “in” right now, but I can’t see myself ever wearing a fake tattoo. Unless it’s of a Yo Gabba Gabba character or something. 😉

Overall, I’m pretty happy with January’s POPSUGAR Must Have Box. The hat is something I would have totally picked out myself, the cup is useful, good hand creams are nice to have, and the granola will definitely get eaten. Aside from the tattoos, I think I’ll use everything in the box at some point. Can’t argue with that. Oh yeah, and the total value of all the items? — $135.99! Well done, POPSUGAR. Well. Done.
