July 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Mini unboxing time!
If you haven’t heard, POPSUGAR Must Have Mini is a brand new subscription launched as a smaller alternative to the original POPSUGAR box. Each Mini box will consist of 2 full-sized items with a total value of $30+. The items will NOT be the same as those included in the regular POPSUGAR Must Have box. However, they’ll still be great “on trend” products curated by the POPSUGAR team — ranging from beauty, household, fashion, healthy snacks, fitness gear and everything in between.
Subscriptions are $18.95/month (shipping included). No coupon codes are available for the POPSUGAR Must Have Mini Box at this time, but you can save $5 on your first “full size” POPSUGAR box ($39.95/month) with coupon code “MUSTHAVE5“.
Let’s see what’s in the July 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Mini box!
The Mini box box is just a smaller version of the full-sized POPSUGAR Must Have box.
A peek inside.
An info card included photos, descriptions, and retail values for each of the two items.
Sunnylife Pineapple Ice Tray – Set of 2 ($17) – Just about every subscription box reviewer decided to include “lifestyle photos” in their reviews of these trays. One person started it and apparently everyone else felt they had to do it too. So with that said, I’m sure you’re all well aware that these can be used to make ice cubes, fruit-infused ice cubes, jello shots, and chocolates. 😉 I’m SO freakin’ over the whole pineapple trend/obsession (why??!), so these will be going in my swap pile.
Let it Block 30 SPF Sunscreen ($14.99) – While it’s cool that this sunscreen is mineral based and paraben-free, it still has a ton of ingredients that I can’t pronounce. I’m also not too keen on the fact that it’s in a pouch… As a mom of 3 year olds, I’d rather not take any chances with my kiddos mistaking this for a food pouch. So into the swap pile you go, sunscreen!
I hadn’t been too excited by the last couple of POPSUGAR Must Have Mini boxes, so with this last offering I decided to cancel my subscription for the time being. Sure the value was always there, but I just wasn’t impressed with the products. Considering I usually only use about half of the items in the regular POPSUGAR box, I knew subscribing to this one would be a bit of a gamble. At this point, I’d rather just keep the $20. 😉
