PostBox by Postmark’d Studio is a subscription box that features artisanal greeting cards and postcards created by artists around the globe.
Each box will include 4 greeting cards, 1 postcard, postage stamps, and a fun artsy item such as a pen, pencil, or knick-knack based on that month’s particular theme. The cards are all handcrafted by a variety of different artists/companies, which means you’ll get a nice sampling of unique designs to send to your friends and loved ones.

Let’s see what’s in the January 2019 Postmark’d PostBox!
Everything was shipped in a small white box with a Postmark’d Studio logo on top.
A peek inside!
All boxes come with a little hand-written note from the founder. — Such a nice touch!
A 2-sided info card revealed the theme for January’s PostBox — “Zesty”. It also listed all of the cards included, along with the artists who made them. The reverse side of the info card provided subscribers with a recipe for Sour Orange Pie, along with the suggestion that you send along a typed or hand-written recipe with your next letter or card.
The items were all neatly stacked together and secured with a pretty ribbon — with a couple extra items on the side. 😉
Hey, Hey! Hazelmade/Kent, OH
Send your friend a triple toast on their special day with this fun mojito-themed birthday card. The front reads “Hey, hey it’s your birthday” in small text with three celebratory mojitos floating above it. A brown envelope with a gold foil seal allows you to mail it in style.
Lemon Pie Lili Graffiti/Montreal, Canada
I’ve never actually had lemon pie, but I can imagine a slice would make me feel a bit better if I were having a crummy day. (A vegan version, of course. 😉 ) This cheerful card was illustrated by Marie-Laure Plano, owner of Montreal-based Lili Graffiti. It’s paired with an equally cheerful yellow envelope and comes in a French version too!
Citrus Bowl Brown Parcel Press/Hancock County, GA
Run by a mother & daughter team, Brown Parcel Press is a small printing studio located on a rural farm in Hancock Country, Georgia. This zesty letterpress card features a “sunny bowl of citrus” printed on 100% premium cotton paper. It’s blank inside and comes with a sandstone colored envelope.
Grapefruit Hazel + Dolly/Detroit, MI
This pink & red grapefruit-themed card was printed on an antique letter press in Detroit, Michigan. It’s paired with a white envelope and is a great choice for pretty much any recipient/occasion.
Citrus Slice Mini Booklets Inkello Letterpress/Lawrence, KS
Aw, how cute are these itty bitty citrus wedge-shaped notepads?! The set includes 3 individual pads — orange, lemon, and lime. Adorable!
Citrus Postcards
These postcards weren’t listed on the info card, so I’m thinking they were made in-house and included as a bonus? Either way, I like ’em!
Citrus-Themed Pencils
A Postmark’d Studio exclusive, this set of colorful pencils feature a citrus-inspired pun on each one. “Squeeze the Day” for yellow/lemon, “Orange you Glad” for orange, and “You are Sublime” for green/lime. Not surprisingly, my 6-year-old daughters have already claimed these for themselves. 😉
Orange Slice Change Purse
Speaking of my daughters… They both immediately pounced on this sweet little orange slice coin purse as soon as they saw it. It wasn’t listed on the info card, so I think it was just a fun little extra.
Vintage Postage Stamps
January’s box included a variety of differently themed vintage postage stamps, along with one John Lennon forever stamp. My daughters started Girl Scouts last year, so I was particularly excited about that one. (Who needs cookies??? 😉 )
Postmark’d Studio Postcard
As always, a thick/sturdy Postmark’d Studio postcard was also included.
BONUS: Objects With Purpose Candle in “Star”
I always love getting clean-burning candles in subscription boxes. This one is actually a “wearable candle” that doubles as warm massage oil when lit, solid perfume when cool. It features notes of Tahitian vanilla, cardamom & citrus zest and I LOVE it! Oh, and they even included a little pack of matches too. 🙂
I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about the theme at first, but once I had a look at everything inside this quickly became one of my favorite PostBox offerings to date! The citrus-themed items were so bright & cheerful and I absolutely LOVED all of the extra bonus items. 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 40% on your 1st box when you sign up for a 3-month subscription! — Just use coupon code “2LRB404ME” at checkout.
